Is this that one game where you move a crosshair onto an enemy and pull the trigger over and over? In WWII?
MS should start a marketing campaign to convince Moms why it's a good thing for Dads to get a new XBox X for Christmas. B/c the only way the Switch is going to compete with the Xbox X is if Moms tell Dads that the budget for Christmas only allows Little Johhny to get a Switch and not for Dad to get the new Xbox.
I'll never own a Switch, but EA has to be the worst in the industry. Awful company.
I have had both systems and a gaming PC for years, although I originally bought the PS4 over the XB1 bc it had better hardware. I prefer RPG's on the PC, but mine is starting to get dated. The only thing I play on the Xbone are Forza games, b/c PD dropped the ball so hard on Gran Turismo. PS4 sees most of my gaming time now. I'm debating about building another gaming PC or moving to the Xbox X in about a year.
I haven't played Wolf yet. What does it do different than other FPS's? Is it linear point and shoot style or something fresh?
LOL @ comparing Mass Effect Andromeda to Origins. ME:A is one of the most embarrassing AAA games ever made, if not the most. If there's a ME:A in the AC series, it's Unity or Syndicate, but they are now where near as awful as Andromeda.
1. Does the game feel really new or is it mostly the same?
Answer = Both. You still climb towers and it's still very much AC (the good parts), but the open world is huge. There is so much to do and see and you have the freedom to do whatever you like whenever you like at your own pace. It also feels more RPG than previous AC's. I'd say it's a bigger, more in depth, and a bit more RPG than Black Flag. I thought AC got progressively better from 1-Black Flag, then the last 2 were a drop. Origins definitely gets the franchise back on track. And it looks great, too. I'd say it's AC meets a Skyrim type game, something in between. They changed the way the combat works, too.
2. I have heard it has some RPG elements. Can you call it an RPG or is it more like Farcry series? With few unlockable skills and crafting but mostly an action adventure. My definition of RPG here will be something like action rpg (Skyrim) and not old-school tbs rpgs ofcourse.
Answer = I'd say the RPG elements fall in between Farcry and Skyrim.
3. How is the performance like? Anyone running it on 4k with 1080 Ti? Because that's my platform.
Answer = Playing PS4. I have to imagine with a 1080 Ti, it'd look amazing.
4. Overall, does the game feel repetitive after say 5-10 hours in or is it fun all the way to end?
Answer = Not repetative. I'm probably about 20-25 hours in, and there is still SO much to do. I've spent a lot of time gathering materials and crafting, treasure hunting, and just free exploring. Probably more so than quests so far.
A kids game and an online bumper car simulator, no thank you.
I like what they did with The Force Awakens, I thought it was great. Rogue One was meh, it was alright.
I just wish they would get far far away from EA for their games.
