They shouldn't have announced that they are doing this because I'm only interested in ps4 games, and it will be disappointing if 2-3 of them are vr games

@lostn: considering how long it took to make and how they make extra money from fans double dipping on a new version then that's money left on the table if they don't release one with new story content. I don't care about paying extra for this dlc and will happily wait a 2 years and see if they release a new version. If not, no biggie I beat the game already and if they do then i'm all in.

@cornbredx: The first one had a weak main lead too, who I thought couldn't act. But then I saw him in Sons of Anarchy and thought he was great, heh.

This problem here is that the first game's first area is so incredibly slow moving that a lot of people never moved on from it and dismissed it as a niche game not for them. They did streamline things a bit in the enhanced edition but not sure if that was enough.

He obviously knows how much tremendous work it takes to make a game while putting a toll on your life and health, and him saying stupid stuff like that makes him even more ignorant than someone who doesn't know what game development is like.

uhhhh if he's saying that the numbers don't matter then he's wrong. It's not an issue on PS4 because you can't see the numbers on PS4. For all we know it could be worse and cliffy is lying. This game has 2-300 active players and that's a complete failure for any competitive based online shooter, paid or free. If steam didn't release the numbers then I'm sure he would still be worried and just never bring it up in interviews and I bet the ps4 numbers are low too. The subreddit forums are a mess with the forced positively and it's almost like the developers are posing as users saying that they bought 10 copies of the game to support the devleopers and how you should tell you friends and family to buy this too. I've never seen a game fail so badly to the point where I see topics like this, and it's almost like (assuming the developers are posing as regular users) they are trying to leverage their playerbase to sell more copies of the game...

@timmyp1982: i feel like 80 plus percent of topics on nintendo switch forums consists of "GAME X would be great on switch!" "Why isn't it on the switch!?!?" "lets make a petition on it to voice our concerns!"

this game is surprisngly still fantastic and fun after all these years. The unlock system to get all the courses is a bit much, but earning money to buy new gear and clothes is surprisingly addictive, just like in the psp games, and in Splatoon. The sad thing is that this will never sell as much as a a 60 dollar Mario golf game on a switch will, even if that game will have way less features.

@kirkhilles: I haven't actually sat down and watched an entire episode in years but i do leave the simpsons world on the fx app playing on my ipad at work all day and I still love the humor in it :)
