@illegal_peanut: No surprise here but at the infrequent rate Nintendo releases their games (which is even more noticeable with the lack 3rd party exclusives) you would think that they would actually release higher quality games when they do come out.

This game is so much fun! The 3 minute matches work perfectly because it's short enough for most people to not get discouraged and will keep the matchmaking times down :) I never played the Wii U version but I hope people continue playing this for years to come!

I think the issue with Warcraft 4 is that these games have such a high skill cap and cost 60 dollars to play. Whether you like them or not, Mobas are f2p, lesser micromanagement needed, and make way more money from some people buying skins or early unlocks more than a 50-60 dollar rts (and the expansions) ever would. You also don't get ladder fear as much because you have 4 people on your team so the fear and intensity of losing a 1vs1 game because you don't feel like you are a decent player isn't there. RTS games will still be around in many different forms (total war) but I think Blizzard only wants to invest in games that have the potential to gain a huge audience, like Overwatch, Hearthstone, WoW and to a much lesser extent but f2p, Heroes of the Storm.

I hope I'm wrong but i feel like they are sending Drawn to Death out to die. But who knows, it could end up being the next big thing like rocket league, but doubtful. I have a feeling that if David Jaffe isn't happy about this then he'll have to keep his mouth shut, as much as he loves to voice his opinion.

I loved the 360 but the xbox one I have very little interest in, and even more so since Forza 3 can be played on pc. Xbox one is pretty much forgotten by me and my friends at this point, and it doesn't help that some of their exclusives were canceled or not great within the past year or so. Sony seems to be getting all the great games lately and it seems like it's going to be really hard for MS to catch up at this point, especially when some Japanese publishers have abandoned the platform at this point. I will say that Spencer is did a hell of a job turning around the reputation of the xbox since the launch, but now it's going to be fighting an uphill battle where it seems that he probably can't win at this point.

I like my switch, but if 3rd party physical games will mostly be higher priced then their console counterparts, then it's going to fail. You can say it's worth the extra 10 dollars for the portability, but you already paid for that when you got the console. Also if they release Skyrim without the expansions (full priced or not) then it's going to be another failure. Nintendo needs 3rd party to do well and they can't just count on selectively picking indies to make it happen, especially when all the good ones have already been out on other platforms for months, if not years now.

@ZIMdoom: Yup. THPS 2 and 3 are in the top 10 highest rated games of all time on metacritic.

This series failed, but ea is partly to blame for this too. Their original concept where you play as augmented humans was a way cooler idea and they shouldn't have stopped just because the Deus Ex at the time was announced.
