The worst part about this review? Gamespot won't retract it and re-review once the server problems have been ironed out.

Interestingly, Warhawk had some server issues at startup, too, but it pulled down an 8.5 out the gate. After playing the beta I would have put the game at least at 8.

Not that friggin' review scores matter AT ALL - except to the game-buying public. Thanks Gamespot!

Haters go home.

I've got to say I'm more impressed by these than I have been by previous screenshots. This has been on my day 1 purchase list for some time, but now I'm really starting to get pumped about it. I've got vacation the first week of November... Fallout 3 & this mean life is GOOD.

Reason #1 - people like the TC don't have one.

No fanboys are good, but 360 fanboys are definitely the worst.

This game continues to look better and better. It's starting to look like a day 1 purchase for me.

*sniff* Smells like hate in here. Surprise, surprise.

I'll continue using my BT Keyboard & mouse - glad I'm not locked into just buying 1st party/prohibitively expensive 3rd party peripherals with my PS3.

Sony offers free themes, you can create, share, and download user-created themes, and now you can buy premium themes.

How can anyone argue with this?

Am I the only person on earth that doesnt care about the shape of triggers??? Maybe I have sandpaper for middle fingers but my fingers HAVE NEVER slipped of the R2/L2 buttons. EVERPOJO_MOFO

I'm with you, bud. I like the shoulder button layout on the Sixaxis/DS3. My trigger finger is just as in tune with tapping R1 or R2 - it gives me the option to have all four shoulder buttons covered and allows for more complex joint movements.

I picked up the "real triggers" because they were cheap & I was buying at a store a buddy on my PSN list works at. Still don't like 'em. Might use them for a game or two, but in general I much prefer the DS3 triggers.

I highly recommend you stop calling yourself "gamer" and start calling yourself "analyst."

As for most of us, we'll go ahead and play the games we want and not worry about all that carp.

If your question wasn't answered here, the best resource I've found is at PS3forums.com. (that's a much better discussion site, anyway.)

Go there, go to the Playstation Network forum (I think) and find the Tversity media-sharing tutorial. Tversity is awesome, and works extremely well for streaming audio & video both on your home network and even globally.

As far as "is it technically a Media Extender?" the answer, I believe, is no. What additional benefits over media streaming does Media Extender offer?
