I gotta agree with your point about the side-quests. For such a big title, Bioware was pretty cheap for only having two sidequests (get brandy, get ingredients). After that the game is pretty much downhill the rest of the way and the Joker mission was soooo predictable; I saw that one coming a mile away. I don't think I can handle console gaming anymore so it is off to dust off my trusty Commodore 64 and plow through some riveting text based adventures.FastEddie2121

Only 2 sidequests? Really?! I could've sworn there were more than just two! Hmmm, maybe my copy is just busted or I actually explored the universe...

Gamespot hates Monster hunter.

[QUOTE="Skittles_McGee"][QUOTE="farnham"] yeah its simple and shallow to rearrange songs.. its really easy

more like the reviewer probably knows nothing about composition, harmony or rearranging and just played the game as a rythm action game.

farnham

Right, clearly the reason they said that is because the reviewer has no idea what they're talking about. Or any other critic for that matter, seeing the average score. No, you're the only one in the world who knows how good Wii Music truly is. Yep. I fully believe that.

Actually a lot of people are appreciating the game for its values that game critics totally missed to evaluate.. Its really easy to sound terrible at wii music.. if you dont know what you are doing... thats why a lot of people get terrible terrible tunes out of it and complain about the sound quality.. But people that actually can mess with wii music have created a lot of great things.. for example this is a totally rearranged version of every breath you take certainly it might not be everybodys taste.. but the fact that you can completely change the tone of the original song is simply amazing

or another example is this rearranged version of the zelda theme..

You just cant do this kinda things in other music games

"Ever breath you take" sounds like a bad phone version before the phones that could utilize .mp3 files were invented...

[QUOTE="KukicAdo"]It's really a double standard. While I don't really care either way if he was in there or not, personally wouldn't play with him, but other emperors/leaders in the Civ games have done some pretty brutal acts against civilians such as Stalin who killed how many of his own citizens? Way more than Nazi Germany ever did. Brownesque
Stalin also managed to industrialize his nation in a way no one prior had. He took a nation that, during World War 1 had been looked upon by the world as a third rate European power and turned it into a superpower. Stalin was also a jerk. Yet Stalin is in the game. Hitler was also a jerk, yet instead of making his nation great, he obliterated it as well as half the European continent. Hitler is not in the game. That's not a double standard, you just don't know what standard they are using. The standard is simple....great rulers are represented, terrible rulers are not. How much of a jerkface they were doesn't enter into the equation.

I approve of this post. Hitler was only charismatic, all his other policies were barebone. In fact, the only way he could keep the German economy from crumbling was through the invasion of other countries (guess that's what happens when you make the unemployment rate sink to 0%).

Edit: lol... sing to 0

[QUOTE="drakecool1"]

[QUOTE="jalexbrown"]I really don't think there would be that many people wanting to build concentration camps and torture and kill innocent Jewish people. If that would be your idea of "intriguing", you might be a sick, sick person.jalexbrown

I am not talking about concentration camps but history shows he was alive I am just saying to give the option to play him or play against him.

Concentration camps were part of his German empire, unfortunately. It was an unavoidable part of his success.

Pffft, and it's okay to play as Stalin? The man that caused the Great Purge and one of the greatest famines in history? Do gulags ring a bell?

[QUOTE="Supafly1"]And Final Fantasy is a turn based strategy game, Morrowind is a hack'n slash game, Fallout is a shooter, Baldur's Gate is a real time strategy game. By your logic, none of them is an RPG game, so I have to ask the question - what is an RPG game by your standards?Revan_911
Inventory, Items, Classes, Levels , Spells (2 spells doesn't make an RPG), Trading, Open worlds, potions, quests,. I know that ME2 had some of these elements, but in the end it felt like playing a lesser version of Gears of War. That's what i didn't like.

Inventory: Yes

Items: Yes.

Classes: Yes.

Levels: present.

Spells: Adepts and engineers have far more than "just two". Pull, warp, push, shockwave, singularity are just a few examples for the adept.

Trading: Yes, although you can only buy stuff.

Open world: Yeap.

Potions: Hmm, doesn't really fit a futuristic setting, now does it?

Quests: Yes.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_Effect_2 Mass Effect 2 is an action role-playing game

Gamespot says its an action Role-playing game. Any site with any credibility whatsoever agrees.
