That review states that Mass Effect 2 is nothing more than a third person shooter with a dialogue system with limited choices... I think, my french is a lil rusty.

"Mass Effect 2 a perdu ou altéré quasiment tout ce qui faisait de son prédécesseur un jeu de rôle pour devenir un shoot à la troisième personne à peine glorifié par des dialogues et des choix scénaristiques qui se limitent en grande partie à choisir dans quel ordre on remplira nos objectifs."

i think your brain might be damaged from the awful generic games on the ps3/xbox360

new fresh games like NMH have proven to be demanding on the area of the brain which focuses on fun

Pices

Ah, "all ps3/360 games are generic". Just as bad of an argument as "the wii has no games"

I think he means the typical dark and M-rated shooters/bloody action games

Yet, when a game like "Madworld" is released for the wii it is exempt from the "generic" argument? Games are hardly ever generic, as much as some people might not like to understand this, people have poured their hearts and souls into these games. Besides, when have we all become so elitist that people are inferior if they enjoy these "generic" games? Oh, and the post seemed to imply that most if not all the games in the 360/ps3 are generic, but its not worth arguing over semantics, so meh.

Rented it and played it for a few hours. Game is boring and the whole "universe" is just bland. I don't know what kind of people dig this but I'm not one of them. Then you play 8 bit games to power up and earn cash, just dumb.

No more hero's 2 is highly overated. Why is it getting hype?

[QUOTE="MetalGear_Ninty"]It is so extensively cliched and chessy that it 'is' good. The ad works becuase it is funny, creative, original, and shows immense ingenuity on the part of the students. The ad is designed to allows prospective candidates to realise that Yale isn't standard, nor boring, but rather clever, innovative and fun.MetalGear_Ninty

Just like every other university says :P?

...Precisely...every other university says it; Yale sings it. Yale showed that to the candidate, in actually demonstrating those qualities. Actions speak louder than words.

EDIT: It's all part of the effect my friend; notice the fact that the dude at the start was akin to Obama, this is becuse he possesses all the necessary connotations of hope, aspiration, and opportunity. These people are smart, they know what they are doing.

You are really argumentative today :P A lot of thought might have gone into it but that doesn't change the fact that I disliked it and had to laugh a lot of times while watching it. Just like this advert is technically effective, I still dislike it.

PS: I still thought it went too far with the cheese just like when the girl asks a question and EVERYBODY turns around and stares at her. I had to lol but then again I have a strange sense of humour at times XD

I found this bad boy in the most viewed videos on youtube. Dear god, I could only watch it for 3 minutes before cringing and shutting it off. Is this supposed to be the place where the people of high school musical go to college or something XD? So, what does OT think? Any other bad/funny ads you guys want to share?

Well, Nomura must hate money because a good FF7 remake would sell... a lot. I wonder what the reason is.
