I mean for those who've played it. I imagine it's great.

But what's it like as far as the gameplay and combat? Are there loads of side quests like in Skyrim? That'd be a plus. :)

Like, as you're going to finish an enemy off, have you ever missed the killing blow?

This game looks AMAZING. You get to be this badass monster who tears apart pathetic vikings.

Okay...so you play as a skinless guy in freaky body horror armor? Ew. The gameplay involves you trying to escape from...who-the-hell knows where. You come across these deformed, boney...things, and the whole thing transcends nightmare fuel. Trust me, I'm a huge monster / horror nut, but...this game just scares me. Even the WEAPONS make me cringe!

I haven't been this afraid of a video game since Halo 3, because of the Flood pure forms. So, what do you think? I didn't catch much from what I saw in the trailer, but it's probably just as intense from whatever combat there's bound to be.

I can imagine there's plenty of people who resort to making their own video games with software like Unity, I myself am among them.

Companies like Capcom are arguably the gods of this sub-genre. But what are some frequently used bad aspects of anime fighting games like Street Fighter, Tekken or even the Dragon Ball games? I can name a few:

- Lack of non-human fighters to select

- Lack of infusing realism in the graphics to blend with the anime-ish style

- The demographics of these games are often teenage bullies. I'm not even joking.

Case in point, I'm working on an indie fighting game on my own. I don't care if it doesn't look like anime, but what are some things that major studios get wrong that I could shockingly right?

According to a guy I know on DeviantArt, Ed Boon getting old is the main reason the series will be concluding by next game.

Now, I like drawing my own original fighting game characters, sometimes I'll depict them as residing within the series in a drawn character selection screen. But will MK basically be complete history once it's over? And things like fan-fics and fan characters will be pointless? I could definitely see this coming.

I can already name a few:

- The Grand Theft Auto series

- All the Splatterhouse games

- Red Dead Redemption ( minus the dark humor of Django or Hateful Eight, to me it doesn't really stick but I listed it anyway )

- Without a doubt, Mafia III

- I know some of you may disagree, but definitely the Fallout games from 3 to 4. For God's sake it has the same humor, same violence and same development of the characters.

Anything else?

There's this really sad...but powerful as hell browser title that I just finished on Armor Games. It's called ImmorTall, has anyone heard of it?

This game...is like the gold standard in allegorical storytelling. You play as an alien who crashes on Earth, then befriends a human family on a farm. A war's going on and soldiers with tanks and planes come after you and the humans...they die, then you do at the end. I've never played anything like it, and I felt like crying when it was done. You be the judge, here's a link to it:

https://armorgames.com/play/5355/immortall

God...for something so simple to play, its message is clear: War destroys life, and we have to think of how what we we have really is worth it. Love, being happy...everything.

Play if you dare. I recommend you keep some napkins with you.

Geez, the majority of the stuff announced so far looks freakin' realer than real. Old people could easily mistake the trailers for live action movies.

But are there any new titles with player characters that don't look human? Preferably not from a past popular series?

I've seen the reviews for how godly bad Andromeda is. Mass Effect should have permanently concluded with 3 in my opinion.

Now, even though it's not likely, a Green Lantern open world ( or universe ) role-playing game would be incredible. This would be like a dream come true for me; being able to play as an original alien or human member of the Corps with different side quests and an original main storyline. The customizing of the player character would have to have more creative freedom than DCUO, and he / she should be able to travel to different planets. And take on newer enemies like the Gordanian slavers of DC lore. I strongly feel like this would do good under the right studio and remedy all the suck of Andromeda.

You guys think this'd do good? I'm pretty sure Tell Tales is "the One." :)
