@deviltaz35: Good call lol. Well from customer reviews it says they really enjoyed it. The game looks great and is good for kids. I just think it gets a lot of needless hate for being a kid oriented game rather than for a normal gamer. I think I'll pick it up once a few patches hit.
@deviltaz35: I think the point was to make a kid friendly platformer but there in lies the problem. It's too simple, Too basic for a platformer. And from reading reviews, Everyone says that the camera is too fixed.
Halo, Gears, Fable, Banjo Kazooie just to name a few. Plenty of different game franchise they could use and make new games with and I honestly don't know why they don't. Yeah next year is gonna be good - Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2, Ori 2, Sea of Thieves. Not gonna be game changes but they are gonna get good sales and hopefully push consoles.
General review of the game is that while it's not bad, It's not original in the slightest. It follows the same formula from beginning to end and doesn't offer anything original or unique to the experience. Shame, I really wanted this one to get good reviews. Looks like this will be a game I wait until it's on sale for.
I feel like we gotta drop the number system. It's to the point where anyone who puts out a decently built game is getting an 8 or better. Not to say that this is a bad game but come on now, It's starting to get pretty tedious. You have to be something terrible to get even below a 7 on this site.
The lack of moral choices aren't a big deal to me as story wise, It's fantastic and lives up to the original series. Also, Kind of glad the talk back isn't used much here. It was a rather needless addition in the first place.
We all get that micro-transactions are a huge money market. It's just I personally worry how deeply it effects game play because while they say it can be unlocked through normal game play, That normally means grinding for hours and hours in an attempt to get the loot but that doesn't mean you get the stuff you want. Plus it doesn't always mean you are gonna get stuff equal to or better than what you already have.
Just as an example: I've opened hundreds of mother boxes from Injustice 2 and constantly I am getting poor quality loot that doesn't even match what I've had equipped for well over a dozen hour worth of game play. If I was lucky, Maybe one in every twenty mother boxes gave me better loot than what I had. And often times it was never for a character I wanted the loot for. There's no balancing there but I think with a more even, balanced system, You have something that isn't worth complaining over. Buying the loot shouldn't give players an advantage over the other, Loot should always be on par with what you have and there should be class related loot boxes for certain character types.
