You lead a group of special Clone Trooper forces with Jedi detachment and undertake recon/assassination/search and destroy etc.

You operate behind the lines and have to manage resources as well as working for factions that gives you benefits or opens up more missions. Maybe you can recruit smugglers, assassins, marksman, engineers, informants etc etc.

That would be a game id play for hundreds of hours.

We can have both. A long game and a short game.

Then there are games that are literally meant to be endless.

There are audiences for all.

Why do we have to choose 1. Why is the narrative is that there can be only one way to do it and one size fits all.

People justifying that its ok to lock content on the 2 other platforms for a year and then still selling them at the same price are why the industry is rampant with gambling lootboxes in kids games.

YoungBlood was bad, like WTF IS THIS-bad but it was a different studio, who seem like they hated being forced to make the game.

But overall I like the new reboot. The guns are AMAZING. But they are moving the timeline a little too fast imho.

To be honest, they can feed me this franchise forever and ill play them all. Same with Doom.

The gaming world have enough audience for both "realistic" and artistic designs.

Its be a far more boring world if all designs are based on cartoony/artistic.

I enjoy being wowed by graphical improvements.

Besides, games pushing for realism also drives technology forward so with regards to human advancement overall, they actually contribute more than "cartoony" games.

We are also at a point where games aged far more slowly than say 10 years ago.

Its less about more PC gamers buying UBI but that more people are buying GamingPCs including huge number of Console converts.
