There are gamers that points out valid complaints and critiques, there are gamers that bitch out about petty things and there are judgemental gamers who think they are better than other gamers by pointing out what they dont like about other gamers who dared voice their opinions, valid or not.
Ive just took a glance at the tweeter mess in the OP and yeah, "the bashing against mobile games is an offshoot of toxic masculinity"..SERIOUSLY? What the F is that garbage?
Whats next, not liking mobile games = homophobia?
Pray that these people dont chance into System Wars because bashing other systems means toxic masculinity. Holy shit.
Its really stupid to collectively "judge" gamers as one entity. Do i really have to explain why? Anyone with an atom of brain matter knows how ridiculous that is.
So the question is moot. Sure alot of gamers do the things they are accusing us of(dont forget, some are valid while others are not or questionable) BUT i bet you a lot lot more simply dont or arent even aware that theres a thing between mainstream journos and "gamurz". They are just happily gaming with their buddies or alone.
In my gaming circle, i can tell you im the only one who actually have a faintest clue about the current situation, the rest are enviably oblivious.
The fact that these so called "professional" journoz have these somewhat hivemind mentality in demeaning and attacking gamers tells alot of their "professionalism".
Being that im primarily a PC gamer and I like many other PC gamers have realised that major pubs are a detriment to gamers and more apt to adopt anti consumer practices, i couldnt give 2 shits if a major pub like Activision or EA go under.
