Id support this game just for the hilarity of the expected IM OUTRAGED culture surrounding our gaming scene. And everywhere else really.

Tencent already launched their own store on the Western front.

Epic and Sweeney are idiots if they dont think Tencent has already roadmapped their future to be fully assimilated into their WeGame business. Including other fools on this very forums lol

What is extremely weird is the very muted response from Steam though. It seems like they are very sluggish in their response, if there are even any plans.

To be great in Open World, it has to have great level design with very deep and meaningful background story backed by an ongoing situation that sort of make things feel a little more intense. Things like these bring players into thw world and make mediocre gameplay forgivable. Gameplay and other things come second.

Thats why The Witcher 3 and Skyrim have borderline acceptable combat but is regarded as the best open world games.

Too many open world games failed to do this. They usually have superior game play features but their open world feels nothing more than a huge gameplay busywork mechanic that ultimately feels fake and tediousness sets in very very quickly.

250k is pretty decent for an Epic exclusive.

Now ask the devs how much more sales they would have gotten if they actually arent an Epic exclusive.

This only benefit Epic, no doubt. But if the devs think this is a good thing and crlebrating this, they are seriously retarded.

The fact that people are ok with CORPORATIONS acting as moral authorities and have enough power to execute completely overkill punishments like this is really frightening. Effing CORPORATIONS. I seem to remember people openly distrust Corporations now they are the Moral Police LOL I guess im really old and the world somehow had gone to shit.

Heard it a decent game and even looks like one.

But its an Epic Exclusive so that obviously hurts sales quite a bit.

Game overhype?

Lol are you serious? The game was heavily criticised at launch because it defnitely was a shitfest of bugs, instabilty and plain old not ready for release.

It was only much much later when people realised that it was actually effing good with great potential when it slowly got patched and PC gamers being the unendingly persistent and imaginative bastards started fixing and modding the game top to bottom.
