There's never a shortage of bread, chocolate or beans at my local supermarket. These things must sell like crap ^^

@OP and any other "genius" : there never was a worldwide shortage. It was mostly in the USA and Japan, and occasionally some European countries. Nintendo said a while back that come Fall, the situation would improve with increased production... which has happened, except in Japan.

There should be some sort of IQ test before being allowed to create threads here... Or anywhere, really.

The fact that the usual idiots are starting to bring back the "just a fad", "it won't last" bullshit is proof enough that Nintendo is killing it with the Switch. The amount of salt that will submerge this forum in the near future is going to be entertaining.

Oh, btw, AtariKidX has gone missing again it seems. Hope he's alright ^^

I don't see the point. I mean, PC gaming is so huge I already don't have the time to play all the games I want on it. Add my Switch to this with Nintendo's awesome first party, and I'm more than fully sated.

The only thing that could make me purchase a PS4 (or even accept it if someone donated it ^^) would be an exclusive I just couldn't do without, but there's none at the moment.

Nintendo has the best first party, and it's not even close.

Thanks for the heads up, wasn't aware of this thing's existence. The STALKER games are among my favourite.

Great start to a new console gen, with very interesting hardware from Nintendo.

A very powerful handheld that can also seamlessly "switch" to the TV is exactly the kind of thing that can grab my attention from PC at times (PS4 and Xbone being just low-level PCs means they might as well not exist as far as I'm concerned).

Pre-ordered it already. I'm getting Zelda BoTW and Super Bomberman at launch, then I'll inevitably purchase Arms, Snipperclips, Splatoon 2, Mario Hart 8 Deluxe, Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade 2 as they release, while keeping an eye out for any other game that might catch my attention.

Really hyped for March 3!

WTF you think the Switch is comparable to? An extra low end tablet PC.

Congratulations. That went waaay above your head. If you don't understand what I was saying, then you're probably not even worth having it explained to you; I'll just give you a clue : the part where I mention a "very powerful handheld".

@silversix_: Oh so you are the guy 4-way sli-ing the titan x? If you think power is all that matters?

Personally I enjoy Sonic 3 and Knuckles still much more than Sonic 2006

SLI is dumb so even if i had the money for a quad titans, i wouldn't run more than one. You can play and enjoy whatever you want but saying that a graphical boost isn't important in your fav games is as ignorant as it gets. You don't lose gameplay when the visuals are better... why is it so hard to understand to some of you? Its as if having better visuals is automatically decreasing the quality of gameplay. Better visuals will only make a good game better, NEVER the opposite.

We aren't saying it's not important, we just aren't crying that we don't get it. The graphics are good enough and the gameplay is top notch. Nothing else is needed.

Well, if you and the bizillion of other sheep aren't demanding better visuals, you will be 1 gen behind the rest (or more than a gen if the Scorpio is compared to the Switch) for eternity. You could be having those same great games with top notch visuals but instead you don't care, its not important... Okay then.

Well consolites like you have been a gen behind PC since forever, and yet you still cling to your beloved low-level closed-garden would-be PCs, so... stop being a hypocrite with people who enjoy Nintendo's games and consoles.

Yeah, console launch lineups tend to be pretty bad, which is why I very rarely purchase them day one (think I only did that for the Gamecube). But in the present case, and even if I already own a WiiU, I've preordered the Switch. I'll start with Zelda and Bomberman... the first six months are actually not bad, there are already ten games I'm seriously interested in. And I don't give a damn about multiplats, since I'm mainly a PC gamer (though the Switch's portability might make me double-dip in the future, who knows).

Getting this console day one. Amazing Zelda on launch? Intriguing Arms? Splatoon, Mario, Xenoblade 2, Fire Emblem? I'm in.
