Legit the only reason the Switch version of Zelda interests me more is because it's got a steadier framerate.

But i was told, for the longest of times, that its their video player that was shitty in every gameplay video. What happened to that? Now that a better version is coming to the Switch, we can finally admit and accept the fact that it looked like shit on the WiiU from the very beginning? That's brutal. You don't kick the damn WiiU when its on the floor already.

i agree with this. the same applies to 144hz monitors, you simply cannot see past 60fps unless you're a pilot. if you disagree you're simply wrong, sorry.

Can't speak for others, I was always calling a 720p/30fps game on Wii U that would get by because of how gorgeous the art is.

Wii U version looks like it was sabotaged just to make the Switch look better. Look at the graphics in Mario Kart 8 o Wii U. hell even the Twilight Princess on Wii U looks better than BotW on Wii U.

Tegra X1 showing decent results for a mobile SoC.. not sure if Nint is sabotaging the Wii U graphics here or whatever but in the mountain scene/over the cliff scene, there is tons more detail and foilage and etc everywhere in the distance, much better distance rendering on the Switch, obviously. Frame rate seems to be pretty steady at 30 fps on the Switch too as opposed to the Wii U

When some PS4 and Xbone games use something like 'variable resolution' to achieve a playable framerate, then yes: 1080p is an achievement ^^

Its real funny how sheep are constantly saying that power doesn't matter but when they achieve 1080p or there's a graphical difference (no shit! a difference between previous gen and next gen! amazing) between the WiiU and the Switch version of Zelda, they're all hyped n shit. Do you have any idea how much better your Zelda would've looked if your hardware was at least on par with the PS4? You notice all those additional leaves, draw distance, better AA, don't you? Oh yes you do. So why the hell do some of you are saying that power doesn't matter and its all about games? If its all about games, skip the Switch and get Zelda on the WiiU, not like there's anything else to play on the Switch until the end of 2017 anyways.

Better graphics don't matter so please support the WiiU version of Zelda. Thank you.

SLI is dumb so even if i had the money for a quad titans, i wouldn't run more than one. You can play and enjoy whatever you want but saying that a graphical boost isn't important in your fav games is as ignorant as it gets. You don't lose gameplay when the visuals are better... why is it so hard to understand to some of you? Its as if having better visuals is automatically decreasing the quality of gameplay. Better visuals will only make a good game better, NEVER the opposite.

We aren't saying it's not important, we just aren't crying that we don't get it. The graphics are good enough and the gameplay is top notch. Nothing else is needed.

Well, if you and the bizillion of other sheep aren't demanding better visuals, you will be 1 gen behind the rest (or more than a gen if the Scorpio is compared to the Switch) for eternity. You could be having those same great games with top notch visuals but instead you don't care, its not important... Okay then.

No amount of bitching is going to make Nintendo go back to the drawing board and release a better box. This is the 3rd time in a row they've released a decidedly weak ass console. You either suck it up and buy it to play the games you want to play, or you don't. There is no other option.

And you could apply the same line of thinking to Xbox and Playstation owners. Why don't they demand better performance? Why don't they demand free online? Why aren't they demanding better games from 1st party studios?

You know me man. I can't stand gaming on a console. It's ghetto gaming. I'd much rather just have all these games on PC running proper, but it is what it is.

If these weak ass consoles happen to get a game I want to play, then I have to deal with it and play the games where they're available.

We like visual upgrades (which we DO get every gen and with every new system) but we don't think its top priority. Not to mention, this will be a GODLY upgrade handheld wise for specs so that should appease some of the pixel counters.

And it is STILL like WiiU2x for a home console so i am totally fine with that because WiiU games looked great to me.

I do not mind being "a gen behind" with visuals (besides, all consoles are leaps and bounds behind PC, so everyone is behind) when we get GOAT games such as Mario and Zelda (Zelda for sure) on switch appear to be.

The only people complaining are the entitled brat gamers these days who will never be satisfied with anything they ever get. Nothing is ever good enough. They expect Nintendo to reinvent the wheel with each system and game, have the best hardware, free online, innovate, AAA games every week, new IPS, and everything their precious heart desires because they think Nintendo owes em something. They lambaste Nintendo for being archaic and traditional to a fault, and then WHINE when Nintendo does try to be modern and adapt and join the present trends (online no longer free for example ~ which means DUH it's gonna be actually be GOOD now, isnt that what youve been wanting?)

I very briefly owned a GC to play F Zero but the last Nintendo console I really enjoyed was the N64, everything after that didn't really appeal thanks to silly gimmicks and aging hardware and it's looking like it's business as usual with the Switch.

The coloring is an impressive improvement on the NS.

Sadly, it's going to be at least a year before I get to play this. I decided to wait for a price drop on the NS and to see what other games come out.
