@BigAl519 That´s not the real concern, it´s how much SONY has lost over this number of units sold. Microsoft has been profiting longer than SONY, and the latter just released the VITA, which is selling at a loss... Microsoft has been making the best decisions so far, for gamers and for their own business.
I hope the next XBOX is not tablet based. They have a Kinect to keep and expand if they want to. You can basically mimic a touch screen in the air if given separate controller parts to complement the motions, and there´s added depth given by the camera capturing your room and the position you are in. X360 is leading the way in console standards, they dont need to play catch up to anyone.
@TohouAsura @HipHopBeats SPOILERS:Big Boss took off his bandana and threw it to the sea where Peace Walker was sinking. That´s why he doesnt have a bandana in this picture and then there´s the logo on his shoulder.
@Albaficas @scarletsnake He takes pleasure in his work, that´s a given, but that doesnt make him talented. He´s got the voice, but the delivery just feels odd. It doesnt help that the script for Metal Gear Solid over the years has gotten more melodramatic and convoluted than the straight forward, yet complex, Metal Gear Solid. Even Raiden´s voice actor (Quinto Flynn) suffered because of the dramatic changes to the character, what with having to play a more ´badass´ version of himself. Raiden in MGS2 sounded great!Anyway, this is just my opinion, I´m in no way kidding, because I have higher standards when it comes to game voice acting. Ever played Grim Fandango?
@sobbgrayfox I still havent played MGS Portable Ops, but doesnt it cover Frank Jaeger´s past and retcon whatever we knew about him? Surely he isnt as soldier-ish as Snake, because I saw some cutscenes of him weilding a blade as a primary weapon. But playing as him would be refreshing indeed!
@scarletsnake I agree that Big Boss is bad ass, but I just hope David Hayter cuts it with the forced gritty and mumbling voice acting. MGS was where he was best (though I cant tell if it was because of sound quality) followed by MGS2. I mean, I understand the whole aging thing, but Ocelot´s voice actor didnt de-volve in the same way...
The character´s forehead is higher or his hairline is receding. Maybe it means we´re getting closer to an older Big Boss. Hopefully, this could cover the events after Peace Walker up to MG1 and MG2:Solid Snake.
@kkee @dannyodwyer @endorbr You know what else would be amazing? Nintendo 3DS having Metal Gear: Ghost Babel in its shop. It was for the Gameboy Color after all. I say in terms of visual style, gameplay and replay-ability, it´s much better than say, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, but the story is lacking comparing to the latter. It isnt part of the franchise´s canon after all, but it does aknowledge the events of the MSX games.
