2001 rocked no doubt. This year as a whole was a bit meh.

This fall was amazing! We aren't even done with the games releasing. I have so many games on my wishlist it's unbelievable.

They would sit down for tea and crumpets and discuss their hate for the mining industry and the predators who run them.

Obviously.

I assume you didn't enjoy his reviews. He also seems quite astute at pointing out problems in videogames today (see Turok review).

It shocks me that this game didn't get the "superior animation" emblem. The way the things move, run, the way brutes shamble towards you, getting up, going into the "cutscene" attacks. It's so darned convincing.

Timed underwater forced scrolling levels where you are chased by invincible enemies.

Beat that.

The opening level of Metroid Prime, so tense, walking around the spaceship, seeing the dead and the destroyed, and reading about spinal columns and organs being eaten, and seeing the parasites eating a bleeding corpse.

Damn this game does it's job so well, I keep finding myself at the end of my seat while playing. No game before has done that to me. It's unreal.

Depends on how awesome it is.

I loved Oblivion, if this is like Oblivion or, somehow better, I'll get it.
