That's the thing with survival horror, it has to be on hard or else it's just not scary. On normal, you can deal with a few attacks from the scythers and get away with the fight in the yellow zone.

On hard, you're terrifed of them getting near you, because they will rip your torso in half if you let them get the chance.

Dvader I implore you to start over, it's a different experience on hard. Proffesional on RE4 was way, WAAAY different than normal. This is sort of the same situation imo.

The gore doesn't freakme out to much. It's more of the "catching a glimpse of one of the things as it runs out of sight" that gets me.

Where did it go? When will it pop out and attack me? Maybe it won't show up and just go away?

This game is absolutely amazing, the graphics have me floored. They look so good. They're in the vents. The way they move, sound, the way they die. It's superb. The controls are so good, I got used to them immediately, and it's so much fun dismembering, and foot stomping. This game will suck you in, it's amazing.

It's like playing the opening level of Metroid Prime x1000. Cripes, it's sold out at my game store I got to (last copy), and I showed it to 2 of my friends, they want to try i. Everyone should buy this game. It's already a hit.

I have this game and have played through to chapter 2. It's dark, scary, these horrible things are the scariest enemies in a game I've ever played. It's unbelievable.

For me, it's like playing the opening level of Metroid Prime x1000, there's so much tension in the atmosphere, monsters looking down at you as they climb through the vents above. It's also beautiful, I knew it looked good, but once it's on your TV you'll be floored. The first weapon is particularly fun, feels just right. I can't wait to go back and continue playing.

If you're one of the folks who like games similar to this, Resident Evil 4, Condemned, Bioshock, Silent Hill. You will love this game to death. You have to buy it.
