Thief aged wonderfully, graphically you can see its an old game but the atmosphere and gameplay is still as amazeballs as it always was. If you enjoy stealth, get it, NOW.

Well lets see... One is being coldly slammed together by a developer that cares more about day one DLC than anything else, a publisher that's voted twice the worst company of America and will most likely be chock full of Origin DRM and micro-transactions and a DLC salesman. The other is being lovingly made by a group of gamers that actually loves gaming and cares about the community, won't ship with DRM and will most likely have free DLC in the form of an enhanced edition. Sooo... Witcher 3 for me.

Thief is still the most legendary stealth game for me, even for such an old game it still remains to be so much more advanced than some of the best modern ones you get nowadays. Just everything from the level design to how different factors like sound, darkness and such was implemented resulted in a masterful stealth experience that just cannot be described. I honestly don't have high hopes for number 4 though, but I'll keep an open mind.

Your sig makes you posting here mighty ironic, just so you know. :P If you have the money, definitely get Origins first and go through it, just because its a bloody fantastic game.

CS never required skill when compared to real men FPS like Quake 3 and UT.

ReddestSkies

I miss Unreal Tournament, so, so much :(Dammit, Epic better have a next gen UT planned otherwise I'm totally going to gib them with a flak cannon.

As someone who LAN'ed the living heck out of Counter Strike 1.5 back in the day, I really enjoyed GO, it wasn't as good as the classic ones but it sure beat Source which was utter tripe for me.

The grotesqueries in Drakengard were...erm...yeah

But Bayonetta definitely gets my vote, punching a god so hard with your hair you send it flying to the sun was easily the weirdest yet most badass thing I've ever witnessed in a game.

Its not badly designed, the game is just so darn difficult because it severely punishes you if you suck at it, and you totally do for the first playthrough. Just stick through it and you'll see, any playthrough after that has the game feeling like a total cakewalk. I won't deny that it has its cheap moments though, that curse effect really crossed the line a bit for me.

What's the latest game to be made with bots? The last game I played with bots was Perfect Dark Zero.

Only one I can currently think of is Black Ops 2. Bots still exist, surprisingly enough. I love bots in multiplayer games, they just allow for so much experimentation you'd otherwise not do in a normal match.
