Short answer: No

Long answer: Hell no

Don't get me wrong, its a great game but ultimately a forgettable one and just overall not something I'd bring up if I was talking about system sellers. The customization is great and the movement and combat is well done but its ultimately the epitome of an 'all style no substance' kind of game if you ask me. The Xbox has a pretty decent lineup though, check out whats getting released for it so far and see if that tickles your fancy enough to buy the console.

Come to think of it, where would gaming be without Bethesda?

It would be fine...

Um, dude, seriously...

fallout franchise (this is big)

elder scrolls series (also popular)

Wolfenstein the new order

and Doom 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeahhh.... Excluding Elder Scrolls, all those franchises still would've existed and left their mark because they were all created by different companies and were tons more influential at the time. Bethesda just came in much later to publish the newer iterations, if they weren't there then we probably would've had a wildly different Fallout 3, Wolfenstein game and so on (or not at all). Overall a great company -absolutely love Elder Scrolls (well, Oblivion and all before that anyway) - but apart from Morrowind, they're not THAT big of a game changer really. You're giving them way too much credit.

Anyway, did you try the Breakdown expansion of State of Decay? I personally disliked how the main game was only one big story mode, but the addition of a nicely fleshed out sandbox mode in the expansion completely changed it for me, its craptons of fun actually being left to your own devices and trying to survive, actually got myself into scenarios ten times more hectic than what I did in the story. Highly recommended if you want to give the game a second chance.

I was watching Attan on Titan the other day and I thought...why is EVERY EMOTION exaggerated to the point of stupidity. Everyone screams and cries and yells. There's no subtlety.

Yeah, I stopped watching that show. Liked the premise, but everything else was the usual anime tripe.

A bunch of screaming, self-loathing, cliché'd individuals. And with the simplest tasks taking 5 episodes.

The concept is great and the giants are genuinely unnerving, but the pacing, good lawd the pacing was some of the worst I've ever seen, it jumps from excitingly explosive to total schlep and back way too much. Why people regard it as one of the best anime ever is beyond me, but to each his own :P

Anyway, a Japanese TLOU would probably involve Ellie being taken hostage by some comically evil dude (who is of course behind it all, sunglasses optional) halfway through and end up being a personal journey of friendship and self-finding as Joel finally grows powerful enough TO PROTECT ALL THAT HE LOVES RAWARWARWAR and leads his band of wacky characters (hilarious furry animal mascot included) into the final dungeon to save her and finally lead the word into a new age as it turns out that he was the one prophecies spoke of all along.

I think they implemented bots already, pick a hero you think looks cool and just practice practice practice. Its all about effectively utilizing a hero's abilities at the right time and buying the right items which, thankfully, is easy because of the recommended items section in the store.

Its going to be hard at first, you are going to suck initially and you'll most probably have elitists who will have an absolute hissy fit about it, but just ignore them and have fun, you'll naturally get good over time.

Also, if you really don't know where to start, pick Razor, he's pretty darn straightforward.

It only hit me now this whole time that I've accidentally logged in to an old perma-banned account I had a few million years ago, even posted a reply here with it and all.

Did...did I just find some sort of loophole where all previously banned accounts are unbanned?

That aheehoyouah ayee! part gets me every freaking time, I swear I should make a ringtone of that part.

Why all the hate? Its pretty hilarious if you just take it for what it is.

Oh just go die in a ditch then, useless company. Maybe if they actually bother advertising their games then they may not have such problems with sales outside Japan, I remember Vanquish and Bayonetta went completely under the radar sales-wise because they just threw it out without actually announcing it properly. Hell I only discovered Yakuza a year ago out of pure ungodly luck because I saw an article about it on some obscure site.
