Games I Own In Very Good Condition

Most games I own are from Sony's Playstation brands: PS (One) and especially PlayStation 2.

Only a few games I own are from Nintendo: N64 (Nintendo 64), SNES and NES.

Also, I have games for the Atari (the popular version) and Sega Genesis. The condition of those games are inconclusive for I haven't played them in like 20 years (feeling old) and the Sega just need an AV cord! Good luck on that one. I recommend Starland or a novelty shop for that unless you can get a 3rd party version.

I do have the consoles for each game except for the original PlayStation (PS One) which I just use the PlayStation 2 for them because of its backwards compatibility. When Sony offers backwards compatibility for the PS4, PS5 etc , I will consider owning those systems.

Currently, these are not a complete list of all of my games and nearly all have their original cases and haven't been played that often.

I have Samurai Shodown Anthology so it's like I bought this game twice. This game is so good I probably would've bought it twice anyway.

Street Fighter Alpha Anthology

For Street Fighter (Alpha) fans: This 2006 fighting game collects the Street Fighter Alpha series (Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3), with a remixed version of Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold and Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix. Plus, it has 2 secret games - Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper and Hyper Street Fighter Alpha will become available after you complete all of the other games (as well as Alpha 3 Upper) at least once. Instead of buying each game individually, I 'lucked' out and bought this 1 disc compilation.

33

Street Fighter Anniversary Collection

For Street Fighter fans: This is the U.S. version of Europe's Street Fighter Dream Collection: Special Edition and Japan's Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition with 2 discs in the case (with the other in the back). It is an arranged version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo but you are playing all 5 arcade versions of Street Fighter II which are Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo which 1st added Akuma. Also, it has that Street Fighter III 3rd Strike - Fight for the Future disc I mention elsewhere here (which offered online play this time) for a total of 6 games. PLUS, it has Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie! It's earlier version, Street Fighter Collection 2 (for the PlayStation), was pretty much the same. There is no need to get the original PlayStation's Street Fighter Collection with this collection unless you are missing '...Alpha 2 Gold' which is in the PS2 'Alpha Anthology.'

36

Street Fighter Collection

It collects the original Super Street Fighter II, the follow-up Super Street Fighter II Turbo and an enhanced version of Street Fighter Alpha 2 titled Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold which is an enhancement of Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha that debuts Alpha {2}/X-Men vs. Street Fighter versions of Evil Ryu and Cammy. It has 2 discs with the "Gold" version on the 2nd one. Somewhat confusingly, Street Fighter Collection 2 finishes the Street Fighter II sub-series but I don't have this (particular) collection for obvious reasons...or do I?

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks

Finally found what was lost! The game was too awesome. I was almost depressed/stressed because I thought I lost it. I included a few codes from Game Informer magazine from like 2005. It's predecessor by release date - Mortal Kombat: Deception - which I own - is not listed as a thumbnail on GameSpot.

King of Fighters: Maximum Impact

The 1st 3-D spinoff to this series or SNK couldn't keep up with the annual 200- releases or/and because the SNK company with through some changes (to SNK Playmore). Otherwise, it would have been The King of Fighters 2004. Interestingly, a GameSpot reviewer back in 2004 said, "It's unlikely that anyone other than King of Fighters fans will find much interest in Maximum Impact, but even they will be disappointed by certain key aspects of the game", ahem, Greg Kasavin. Yet the game was a finalist from GameSpot's "Best of E3 2004" in the category Best Fighting Game. Yeah Greg, I agree but disagree.

The King of Fighters 2002

Challenge To Ultimate Battle is the sub heading. Got one of those crisp receipts dated 11/21/2005 for $27.30 at GameFly (wink). ;-)

60

The King of Fighters 2000/2001

2 games in 1 case. Woo hoo! But a 2000-2001 game in 2003? Neo Geo/SNK must have been bankrupt and/or the PS2 must have been going through those massive (ported) re-releases.

61
