isn't that the point of a professional review? is that not the job of a professional critic? To be as objective as possible, while appealing to his very audience?
If people wanted subjective advice, they would just ask their grandma for game purchasing advice.
@istuffedsunny yes, you and everyone else who doesn't understand the logistics involved in game development. games are in development for years. if you made DLC after release, by the time it was ready, the game would be a relic. That is not an excuse for those who sell incomplete games with immediate DLC releases....thats just scummy. If the original game is what I would consider to be a complete experience, then they can do whatever the hell they want with the DLC.
@buccomatic you need gamefly. 2 game account and I've played through GR:Future Soldier, Max Payne 3, Spec Ops: The Line, all in a month. I wouldnt have paid $60 for anyone of those games, but $25 to play all through three is just fine by me. I play every single game I want to and never have buyers remorse. Certain games I buy, mostly large rpg's (the Skyrims, Fallouts, ect..) or multiplayer-centric(i.e. BF3, CoD). For the most part I've played almost every major AAA game out there in the last 3 years. Thta would be thousands of dollars worth, including trading them in and what not. I've only spent a few hundred dollars through gamefly.
first of all, they are always going to say its doing better than they expected. these guys are pros in the art of bullshit. EA has extensive PR training for top tier execs. fuckin politicians.
you are all right. BF Premium is an insulting joke to some and a nice addition to others. who cares. most of you nudnicks have these pretensions about video games, probably because life offers you little else. video games are not that important, and your opinion of them even less important. you all have the choice to buy or not to buy premium. I purchased premium, played for a week and haven't touched it since. ...and guess what, I've spent way more money on much less, and I will again at some point in my life. who cares, its just a little money. all of you idiots act like this is f'n electricity or water and EA is the communist government rationing it out to us at exorborant prices. get a grip. go play free games, theres a million of them, and you'll never have these feelings about a game again..
@singhellotaku if you like not playing fun games while waiting for other games its great. gamefly>my home>out of sleeve>into console>30 minutes later>out of console>back into sleeve>in mailbox.
this game blows, and blows pretty hard - and I'm being as subjective as possible.
