holy cow. Blizzard gets $1 per gear piece sold. so how much is a piece of gear going to cost. if $1 is their cut, how much is a single item going to cost? the price of xbox live arcade title?

you cant argue with Blizzard's success, but you all can have some dignity, and not get fleeced by a game you've been waiting 10 years for that you'l play for 1.

i'm glad i moved mostly to console gaming. PC publishers are getting out of control.

@kelso27 now you have. chokepoints suck. average players don't use them correctly and basically designate the chokepoints as sacrifical blood pools. lol

I am tired of the fantasy genre. I couldn't even get half way through Skyrim, which by all accounts is an amazing game (besides the out-dated combat system). it was just too much of the same thing for me to get sucked in. Fantasy has been done a hundred times over. good or bad, almost all of them, essentially, share the same lore, aesthetics, and ideas. an archetype if you will. Its boring me just thinking about the genre. the real kicker here is, mechanically it will be just like the other top tier mmo's out there; hotbars, delayed event combat, cooldown timers and the whole lot. So to sum this up, this a game you've all played before. many times.

FALLOUT.........that is the damn MMO they should be working on.

do people really care about campaigns in shooters? I assume %80 of people who play shooters play for multiplayer. calculate how many total hours people have played the campaign to how many hours the world has logged online. those figures have to be on separate planets. maybe I am way off here, but why waste any resources on the campaign. it seems that a large portion of their revenue from comes from MP DLC anyway. ever since modern warfare came out they have been trying to stuff 2 games into one package. if you play for the campaign, half of your money goes to MP development, and if you only play MP, half of your money went to developing the campaign, and if you like both, great, now you get watered down versions of each. they spread one stick of butter on two loafs of bread and everyone just buys it up. not me. i still really want to play MW3 and this game, but I can't spend any more energy resenting game developers. Time to take my dignity back and stop buying these half baked products marketed to the masses. I am worthy, and so are all of you, to expect exactly what YOU want from a videogame. there is no reason we all must bow to the board members of these monstrous publishers who seek prophet above all else with their "one size fits all" approach to game design. I'm now adding activision to my FU list.

Great article. Context is the genesis of all rational thought.
