I was letdown with Brutal Legend. The demo looked awesome and I love heavy music. But I never will or has has ever liked that type of battle strategy game. The game looks awesome with great music but I will never return to it again because of the gameplay. I kinda suffered through it to see every area of the game and hear Jack Black, but I hated the gameplay. I felt almost hustled when I played it. I played an awesome demo where I assembled and rode around in cool car, but the demo didn't feature any of the battle strategy parts that was prevailent throughout the game.

@sanghelle56: How can you be so sure of the qualities of Ghost of Tsushima before it's even released? How do you know it will be original and not offensive?

I find less and less reason to replay games because of trophies/acheivements and just the fact that they are made in a way that push you away once you are done with it ...

Anyway I played more than 10 times Final Fantasy VII

Maybe an 100 times Mega Man 2, 3, 4, X. I also played a few times already Mega Man 10 and 11.

I replayed Final Fantasy Tactics a few times too. It was an amazing game.

Learn to ignore the Trophies/Achievements. Games are much more fun that way. When I realised I can't get all trophies because I can't always finish games on hard and many Trophies/Achievements are connected to multiplayer I never play, I realised I can never get all Trophies/Achievements anyway so why bother. I think I've even turned of notification for Trophies. I enjoy the games much more now.

I replay games all the time. It's mostly because I enjoy the gameplay and story and want to experience it again. I've lost track of how many times I've played the Batman Arkham series. It's a great series I return to often. I can't explain why I would rewatch tv-series or movies, but I do that a lot too.

Right now I'm replaying The Longest Jourrney and Dreamfall because I felt kinda lost playing Dreamfall Chapters and wanted to brush up on the story.

I've never been to a midnight launch. I've been tempted a few times when I lived in a city, but having to get up at 6am to go to work it didn't seem like a smart move. It has worked fine just pre-ordering it and picking it up after work.

@qx0d: For the record, I like RDR2. But just because a game has a story doesn't exclude it from being boring. Which weirdly seems to be your point. I can totally understand people finding it boring. I got bored a few times myself. I think the everyday cowboy-tasks were boring. I don't like hunting, fishing or collecting flowers. I don't mind them being there for people who enjoy that sort of thing, but I didn't enjoy being forced through these boring tasks multiple times while playing the main story and side quests. I'm kinda a completionist when it comes to open-world games. I like finishing every side-missions. So when I was finished with the main-story and side-missions I was "forced" to fish and hunt multiple times I really didn't want to do. That was unnecessary.

@sauer21: Who are these manboys you keep hating on? I saw you all over the place on a random post in System Wars. What's your problem?

I think the story in GTAV was pretty good. Michael living a "care-free" life when his criminal past finally caught up to him. Small-time crook Franklin getting a chance for bigger scores while struggling with he idea of leaving his friend behind. I replay GTA5 mostly for the story. It's very compelling with various plot-points starting out separately and convering.

Last of Us has a very good story. And Detroit:Become Human had a good story and interesting philosophical dilemmas.

I sorta been having a point-and-click "retro binge-playing". I've just played through most of the Larry Laffer-games and now I'm playing The Longest Journey. Space Quest keeps popping into my head. It was a really fun series and I want to replay it. But I don't really care for the aged 16-bit graphics. I want to replay them mostly for the gameplay and plot. I know SQ1 had a 256-color re-release. What versions of the game are available to download? I see GOG and Steam are selling package deals with 1,2 and 3 and 4,5, and 6. What versions are available in those packs? How's the remake by Infamous Adventures? Is it possible to play on Windows 10?

GTA-series. I heard about the first games and the controversies. But I never really got curious and bothered getting them. It didn't really sound like my type of game. When I got PS2 and found GTA3 in a bargain bin I decided to give it a shot. Didn't regret it. A great series that has stayed with me ever since.
