I haven't played any games before IV for ages. I had them on PS2 and packed it away soon after I got PS3. I remember my favorite was San Andreas. I just loved the big and varied map with cities, mountains and farmland. We got that again with V plus the improved graphics. So my favorite is GTAV. I haven't played online, but the single-player part is great with fun and varied characters. Trevor is just amazingly fun to play.

@dorog1995: Then they should read more about the game. I read one article and knew that this wouldn't be a typical MGS-game.

I've already pre-ordered Spider-Man and Tomb Raider. I plan on playing Spider-Man sometimes this week and will be playing Tomb Raider when it arrives.

And RDR2 and Assassins Creed Odyssey. I've not pre-ordered them yet, but I feel certain I wil play them. Even bad reviews don't faze me. I still kinda enjoy Assassins Creed.

Metal Gear Survive, kill it with fire!

You was disappointed by that? I haven't played it, but a Metal Gear survival game set in an alien world doesn't sound right to me. It must be pretty bad if you were disappointed by it. Glad I didn't buy it.

I own PS4, Switch and XBox One. And I recently had to replace my PC so at the moment I play most on PC. Replaying some games. If streaming count I have to say Xbox One. I watch a lot of Netflix. I used to play mostly on PS4 because I preferred purchasing multi-platform games for PS4. But that may change. I realised PS4 has very slow internet and is very noisy. I may switch to Xbox for multi-platform games.

I played a lot of Switch this summer while on vacation, but I don't play a lot otherwise. It don't have a lot of games I like.

But I'm positive I will play a lot on PS4 when I get Spider-Man next week.

I never play multiplayer games. I play exclusivesly single-player games. I'm aware many single-player games have MP-components like GTA, Uncharted etc. but I never play them. I like the solo experience of exploring a game on my own.

@lembu90: I don't think "Battle Royale"-mode is to blame. Multiplayer has been an important part of the gaming industry for many years now. I blame COD and microtransactions.

7th Guest. Up until that time I've played mostly various 2D point-and-click games, but the game blew me away with it's visuals. Great 3D-environments and live-action video. It was mostly just a glorifed puzzle-game, but the visuals were stunning.

In Chapter 5 I've entered Monarch Labs and I need to use their time machine to travel back in time. But when I enter the room there are all kinds of enemies to fight. I'm used to that, but not under these conditions. There seems to be something really weird with time glitches in this room. I can hardly do anything without me suddenly finding myself in a whole other part of the room. On numerous occasions I'm suddenly floting high above the ground somewhere and fall to my death. Is there any trick to surviving here? Can't make head or tails about anything.

@hyperanium: you can still have all that and not buy a ps5 until 2 years later why force people to wait 8 years just cuz you are not ready? Not everyone jumps on board ayway on launch year.

If they release new console 6 year apart, and you wait 2 years to get it, it's basically 8 years for you but 6 for people who want to upgrade

If you want the latest games you have to jump on to the new console pretty early. How many 360 and PS3 games are available now? Most new games arrive on the new generation.

I play mostly on consoles and I'm happy with the current situation. I'm not about to jump onto PC anytime soon.
