For once, I actually agree with you. I doubt it will ever see the U.S. Rainbows are somehow synonymous with homosexuality here. Then Fox news would write some article on how it's turning kids into homosexuals and it'll just go downhill from there.
The Gay Pride Flag is the Rainbow flag. It represents diversity with each color meaning something. That is why there is a connection. Fox News is run by Satan. i think the game looks funny. Kind of a harsh opinion for only seeing a few minutes of the game in a trailer...in Japanese too for that matter.[QUOTE="dieasgrey"]Every point he made is true.
I have a wii and love it. The Wii has delivered everything it claimed it would. Dreaming that it is somehow going to turn into an Xbox as far as library and graphics is getting ridiculous already. Nintendos goal was to make a family system that would be affordable and accessible. It is a secondary system to a 360 or ps3. They know this , they have said this.
This is not a "hardcore" system. I mean even Nintendo's "hardcore" games are so watered down and predictible it is pathetic ( Twilight P. , Galaxy , MP3)
The main highlight (the controls) are now even being sacked. How many Nintendo game have come out already that give you as many options as posible to get you to not use motion controls. If Nintendo is going to just tack on controls then whats the point.
What we got now is what we are going to get. Look at it even from a game makers perspective. I doubt it is very exciting to make new games on 7 year old hardware. Why make a game for the wii when you can make it on 360 and have it look amazing.

There is nothing watered down about games like Metroid Prime 3 and No More Heroes. Heck, my cousin and his friends flipped Halo 3 in 6 hours. So hardcore. Yet he gets stuck in MP3 only an hour or two. Getting stuck in a game is as classic a moment in gaming gets. And Twilight Princess was criticised because for many it was just Zelda 64 redone. Are you saying Ocarina was also watered down? And yet it's arguably the greatest console game ever. Huh, go figure.
As to why make a game on 360 rather than a Wii? I don't know, to maybe nnovate the way players use the controller interface with familiar genres, thus pushing said genre furtehr than ever before (and past the same ol same ol pretty graphics and X,B,X button combinations). There are enough Wii games to prove the motion controls and IR pointer can make a game better and not just gimmicky. Metroid Prime 3, No More Heroes, and Bloom Blox being some examples.
MP3 was a carbon copy of mp1 and 2. the controls were great....but beyond that nothing earths hattering. As for NMH , i was talking 1st party games. Twilight Princess was basically Ocarina redoen with controls tacked on. Ocarina is one of the al time greats. TP basically had the same puzzles and layout but what 10 years later...id call that watered down.
I agree the controls are pushing the genre into new areas...unforunatly for every good game there are 15 terrible ones.
Nintendo has taken such a risk on the hardware of this system that they are playing it as safe as possible with the games. I mean every 1st/2nd party game as played like a traditional nintendo game (controls put aside). At least with the gamecube they pushed there franchises into new areas...sunshine,double dash, windwaker. Granted most were not accepted wtih open arms but at least they were taking shots.
I guess all im trying to say is dont expect too many "hardcore" AAAAA games for the Wii. The wii is a set up system IMO. It has gotten Nintendo back in the game so to speak. The real test is in 2 years when the new xbox will be coming out to see how they respond.
Every point he made is true.
