Partly true. SSBB , GH3 , the Wii itself and its launch games were all on Sunday. You will be able to get Kart on Sunday. Guaranteed.

Did you say you bought a 2nd pair of component cables? Wasn't sure what you meant by Nintendo's cables. If not obviously try another set.

Hook up a dvd via components and see if that yields the same result.

This the only option that I know of at the moment.

Wow, that's perfect! Thanks for the info. Ouch at $39.90, though. >.<

My purpose is that I want to connect the audio to my PC so I can sample some sounds. I'll need video to see what I'm doing on the Wii, of course, so I figured I could jsut hook it up the my second monitor. I was hoping that I could find a way to do it cheap, but perhaps not. Maybe I'll jsut get an extension for the RCA cables and run the video portion all the way to the TV while I hook the audio in to my PC.

Yeah just run the sound to your audio card. Easiest and cheapest.

yeah you can reformat. I dont understand if you are asking if you can.....or you did it and it wont work? OEM just means you can never use it on a different compuer than the one you installed on. So You can't upgrade motherboards ....sometimes newvid cards will causeconflictsas well. Call Microsoft if anything.

Wow. just trying to help. Thought the big XP/2000 on that page would have given it away that it wasn't for Vista. Just would hate for you to screw something up by downloading bad drivers.

I think it's funny how people seem to think they can future-proof their rigs. Remember when Pentium D came out? "You gotta get dual core now !!! once programs start using them in a year this thing will still rock!!!" Yeah by the time programs started utilizing 2 cores, Core 2s were out and spanked D's out of the water at a slower clock and cheaper prices. Penryn or Yorkfield is the way to go IMO.Cheaper, faster , cooler ,better headroom and less power consumption. I personally am not a believer in quads yet. I would wait till after the Nehalem is released to see what kind of improvements there will be in the quads..probably much cheaper too. Thats just me. How an argument like this gets so heated is beyond me. $200 for an e8400 is the best buy that i can see. Do what you feel is right.

Maybe im looking at the wrong benchmark results. I keep hearing 3870x2 is better bang for your buck over the 9800gx2. I see it coming in at least 15 - 30% faster in real world tests than the ati card. Look at Crysis. that difference alone is worth the extra 150 bucks.

Ebay'ers like to make wii sports more glorified also. most wii's for sale or wii sports will advertise it as bundled 5 or 6 games (however many there are) and RARE. While technically true, it makes it seem like you getting more than you are. Amazon has some "new" ones for over $70. It's silly.
