[QUOTE="DaGamingGod"][QUOTE="1nverted"][QUOTE="XaosII"]Hmmmm. I wonder. How much did that 360 + 10 games cost you?1nverted
Thats true, but it's a one off payment for the console, I don't continuosly need to upgrade it as more advanced games come out.
I'm sure you knew about constantly needing to upgrade years ago. Why does it bug you now? Low on funds?
Well I custom built this computer in 2003 and it's been slowly upgrading into what it is today, however the technology required for a PC to be able to match the visual quality of a much cheaper console is becoming far to expensive. Games are advancing a lot faster than the technology required to run them.
What exactly did you build it from? ...because all of the components are no older than 2years at the max.
That rig could pull 30-40 fps easily. I can swing 30 on my old rig with a Pent D945.
what res you play at?
Ps. you have a top notch mb but you could of paid a third as much and gotten the same performance from a p5n-e-sli minus some of the bells and whistles, or you could have gotten a cheaper board and bought a gig or 2 of ddr3 ram.
your vid card is about $250 overpriced for it performance,
4 gbs of ram is a waste unless your running a 64bit os otherwise xp/vista only reads 3gb,
geta good heatsink and oc that cpu to 3ghz ,since Crysis is not quad optimized 2 cores are not even in use.
You could of built a rig that competes with your "2500AUS" comp for less than half of that. Research is your problem i guess.
