Great informative article. I hate DLC in general because it's mostly there to nickel and dime gamers into paying for content. Not all of it is bad but most of it is evil. The DLC characters in fighting games is evil. New areas to fight in or alternative color schemes or something similar would not be evil. People just need to keep their arguments straight so that it sounds like a legitimate complaint instead of a crowd of shouting idiots.
I agree with the point of the article, I just don't think there's any reason to say it. You might as well point out that grass is green and the sky is blue. As far as changing the ending, that'd be dumb too. The cat's already out of the bag. Use your imagination and get your denial skills prepped and just imagine it ended however you wanted it to.
The Less Condescending Guards is pretty great at keeping my guy from cutting himself. Death Cam Duration Options is great because I like to see what happens after I die. SkyUI is definitely the best though.
If the system is busted enough that you have to constantly explain, it might be time to look at changing the system. A 4 or 5 star scoring system cuts out almost all of those piddly score-semantic arguments and then the only argument left is if you agree with the reviewer or not.
If games were cheaper new, there would be less incentive to buy used, so they would sell more new copies than they do now. In my mind, that's all there is to it. Incidentally, there would also be less incentive to pirate...
I felt the same way about that Nintendo exec's answer at first, but saw that she was a VP of Sales. Anyone in sales has to keep repeating that kind of bs so much that sometimes they can't help themselves.
I wonder who paid for this article, namely this part "but the motherboard's limited CPU compatibility illustrates Skulltrail's elite status in Intel's product lineup" Sure, the extremely expensive motherboard and the processors required to work with it have no guarantee of being future proof at all, but as long as we have the elite status, who cares?
