Can't understand how you say consoles are a waste of money when 80% of their titles are nt' even on crappy PCs that you have to upgrade every two months.

Oh God...what a hot mess this has turned out to be. Let's all hope the game (if we ever get to play it) works out better than it's development.

@SporkFireXPS @dbene

So basically your point is never have any laws against anything because bad people will break them anyway.

Can't understand how if you are an adult and you play these games you would care to show an ID to buy them? Make it an actual enforceable law. If you have no problem with voluntary retail guideline you should not have a problem with a law....it's the same spirit of responsible gaming, IMO.

So baically....everyone wants to say "it's the parent's fault....they should not let the kids have the games".....but then when someone wants to suggest that it be a law so it will actually be enforced no one wants to support it. What it tells me is......."hey let's keep it a suggestion, so everyone will ignore it....millions of kids will still buy the games and we can all ACT like we are doing something about this".

I'm not for censorship, but it's hypocrisy to act like you really care that kids are playing these game and then at the same time say that simple guidelines are enough to stop it. Of course laws will not stop it completely , but you could bet that making laws against parents buying thiese games for kids would stop some of them.

Why not just get rid of underage drinking laws as well and make it a "guideline" that way parents can choose whether or not they want their kid to drink.

@starduke

I agree but how many of these M games are being played by kids as young as 13 and under? No way as many violent games would be made if they knew for sure people under 18 weren't gonna be able to get them. I love violent games as well ....just speaking facts. How many COD gamers would you guess are under 18

@Sw1tched

Where does Nader say adults SHOULD NOT be able to play these games?
