people below me that keep saying "I buy a game..and I have a right to voice my displeasure or say how I feel". This makes no sense. If you actually read the article above you can clearly see that in no way is the author saying that you shouldn't criticize the game or even Mrs. Helper's opinion on game directions or games in general. The author is simply saying that you shouldn't be able to harrass someone and insult their family and personal lives just because you feel that you KNOW EVERYTHING. The author is also right in stating ...it's not YOUR GAME. It would be the equivalent of getting on a forum and calling METALLICA viscious hate names because you don't like their new album. Here's what...if you don't like the game...buy a different game and start liking new titles.....branch out a little culturally....anyone who gets so HUNG UP on their beloved series and actually HATES the developers of games because they change something are quite pathetic IMO. You all remind me of Annie Wilkes in Misery...you become so obsesses with your games and characters that you hate the creators of the characters and games for not continuing to make them just like you want it. Next, many of you will be kidnapping the developers of Bioware and making them go back and put the isometric camera view in the next Dragon Age.
I hate really stupid immature gamers who think they are amateur versions of Andrew Dice Clay. It's just not funny. You can't play a game of Call of Duty without a bunch of idiot kids, teens, or young 20-somethings cussing people out .....being racist, sexist or just downright vulgar and/or foolish. I'm not a stuck up ...straight laced person either. I can laugh at sex jokes and foul talking movies etc.....but when you get on a video game and threaten people and cuss with no real artistic merit..etc.....it just proves how big of an ass some of our society can be. It makes me sad really......just like the trash mouthed freaks below me in this comment section.
@simo_TMM I don't see where they author makes that argument whatsoever. He is simply stating the facts and the article appears to be a little "tongue in cheek" , IMO. It shows the power of cellphone and android marketing.
I fully expect games to start being ONLY downloadable or either coming with a one time code that only works for that system. And then RECHARGING to reactivate the game on a new system.
Nintendo should quit making consoles and make software for everyone else. They would be the biggest software giant out there. (Although this idea failed miserably for Sega).
