It's not just the fact that it's not historically accurate. I think most people can deal with some historical inaccuracies for the sake of entertainment, but when you change the Major ideas and figures for no real purpose that makes any sense it becomes.....well, stupid. I will play this just to try it out but I don't like messing around with major inaccuracies in history.
yes you have missed the point. Again not saying ANYONE should get their history lessons from a game...saying the weak minded do. This DLC has no real purpose in a historical or entertainment background and seems to actually take away from the storyline of the original game, IMO. It's like making a DLC to a Lord of the Rings game where Gandalf is really a bad guy and tortures hobbits.
I think this is stupid because teenagers have enough trouble with History as it is. Many of them only know their history from what they are exposed to in the media. Things like this cloud it up. I'm not trying to be oversensitive or anything. I don't mind rewriting history for games but I think gross changes or misrepresentation of major historical figures is not cool.
A little confused as to what a "co-op story mission" is....is this something entirely new...like an online campaign sorta................and what would the new co-op gameplay modes be? maybe versus or stuff like headquarters and seek and destroy etc. type like on COD?
