I have played about 5 chapters in so far and I can't tell that it's all that different than the previous games. Does seem a little faster paced though.
Death of franchises (even the ones we love) is not always a bad thing. Too many sequels ruins all series ......deaths of games like this creates new life ...new ideas....new and better games. Think of it in similar terms as a forest fire.
I'm confused as to why the "horror aspect" makes people not want to buy a game. Are people actually so scared by games they won't play them ...even if the game is great?
Apparently most of you didn't read the part about "Levine talked with the religious guy and through those discussions better fleshed out the lead character.
Seems like most of you just wanna rip the guy who got offended and missed the whole point of how the dialogue between the two actually improved the story of the game.
Seems like the days of being completely blown away by the graphics of a new system are over. Things are so realistic now that the differences are more subtle....seems like the improvements are based around improved features...etc.
I have a lot of gamer anxiety and excitement during generation changes. you want to get excited about the current gen stuff but at the same time want to gear up for the future. It's not so bad on me now (since I don't care about getting every awesome game right when it comes out)...hard for me to make the transition withotu worrying I'm gonna miss out on something.
