I agree parents should be more responsible, but as a teacher I can tell you that most parents today are not. A high majority do not even teach kids to have respect for anyone including adults. If you dont' believe me....turn on Xbox Live and go in any game and listen to the idiotic kids under 18 talking about everything from raping kids to eating human remains just to "shock" people....or cussing like a 60 year old sailor when their voices haven't even hit puberty yet. Sales need to be enforced like alcohol and also make purchasing FOR someone illegal like buying alcohol for kids....IMO.
Does Playstation Network now have it where friends playing different games can still chat in a party? It used to be that you could only communicate in-game
Why can't RE series go back to the RE 2 style camera (pre rendered environments)......make the story 10 times cooler tighten up the controls and graphics and have an instant hit??
I'm sure Borderlands 2 will be great, but I do have a feeling that the charm of the original will miss it's mark with me on this. Part of what made me love the first is that I was suprised by it's depth....it seemed to come out of nowhere for me........I think the expectations will kill off some of they joy for me.
I grew up in the golden age of gaming and I loved all that stuff......but I just don't see how anyone who loves the current gen (with all the titles out now) and has a job/family etc. could possibly have time to play current gen and waste time playing older games you already beaten.
