Zelda no Densetsu: Kamigami no Triforce & Yotsu no Tsurugi

This game is special to me in several ways. It's the first game I bought with my own money (alongside with a GBA SP console). It's a game I was fascinated by for a long time before I actually got it (we're talking about nearly a decade, baby!). It's the game that reminds me of Super Power magazines. If there is something that irks me, it's that I haven't got a chance to try Four Swords! :\

Super Donkey Kong 3: Nazo no Krems Shima

This game was the first DKC game I ever played. I f'ing fell in love with this game. I wanted to marry this game and have its babies, that's how much I loved this game. This game was so perfect back in the day: beautiful graphics, beautiful soundtrack, beautiful platforming experience... Don't let the past tense get to you, this game is still pretty darn impressive! Rare FTW!

Oni

Hand to hand combat with a story. That is the thing I love about Oni. Also, I love Shinatama. Some people think she is irritating, but ... I'm not going to spoil the story for you, as much as I'd like to! Weapons are present all over the game, but nothing really beats the sound of a breaking back... Konoko is a woman with an attitude, and that's the way I like it!

This is prabably my favourite game ever. Playing through this is like watching an interactive movie. I love the story, I love the characters, and I love the relationships these characters have. This game lacks only ONE thing, which is, luckily, covered in Number Two on my list. :)

Flashback

I got this game from a used-book store, where they also sold games. I had read about this from Super Power, so I had a hunch that I was going to get my money's worth. I played this game through in 13 hours... In one sitting. I haven't touched it much ever since. :D The experience was exciting, nerve-wrecking, scary and awesome at the same time. I don't think I'd ever before played a game 1) for so long in one sitting, 2) through in one sitting. All I can say it definitely wasn't the last time... Except with this game. :D

While Earisu's theme (piano collections version) is playing on the background, what can I do but make this game Number Four on my list. For the longest time I didn't want anything to do with FF games. I dabbled with the first game, and after some years, I had grown curious enough to see what's the deal with 7. I had to play this game quite a bit before I fell in love with it. I must say this game has the best battle theme out of all the FF games that I've played/heard. You're free to disagree with me. :3

Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean

This is one of the rare occations when I can't remember why exactly I went and bought this game. I know I got it from Videopelidivari (these days just VPD). I may have just stumbled upon this and been like "huh, this looks interesting - an RPG for a Nintendo system only". (Back in the day I was quite unfamiliar with Nintendo's RPGs. :D) I like card games, so I've got almost nothing to complain about the battle system - just that you're not in full control of your deck. I highly recommend this game, since I've never heard a story quite like this one. Plus, the backstabbing near the end....!!! I totally DIDN'T see that one coming! Oops, spoiler'ish...
