You should have got it directly from Dell, they normally bundle something with it, be it headphones, speakers or even 20-30% off retail price or extended warranty.

Well it's $319.00 at Dell and I'm not interested in any cheap headphones/speakers anyway, as I'll be getting some quality ones soon.

I'm not exactly sure what your asking. If your asking for a good gaming headset with a mic etc... I'd say the Triton AX 180's. The quality is great and the price is super cheap compared to others. If your looking for headphones, I'd recommend skullcandy skullcrushers. Not for gaming though, skullcrushers are just a simple 3.5mm audio jack input, so it could be used for PC gaming.

Probably 3 years for the GPU, I've never had a high end monitor though and don't plan to for a while.

Size has to be 22 to 24", preferrably no more than $200. I'm considering the Asus VH236H and VH238H, would the LED version give me deeper black levels? Any other better monitors in that price range? I know somebody will probably recommend the Dell U2311H but it's $90 more and for that price difference, I could buy a gtx 580 instead of a 570. I've seen the IPS236V at best buy (same panel as the Dell IPS) and actually a TN monitor next to it looked better (Samsung S23A350H to be exact). So I don't see the point of IPS especially when I'm not a professional photographer and I tend to sit directly infront of my monitor when I'm using it anyway.

So any suggestions?

I fail to see how any display at that size while only being 1080p is necessary. You could buy one for half the size and sit closer to it, it'd have the same exact effect. They really need to start stepping up the resolutions.

Why do you want to use a laptop for gaming if you have a desktop? Here's an idea, spend half of your budget upgrading your desktop and the other half on a cheap laptop.

Between these 2:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125382&Tpk=gigabyte%20gtx%20570%20soc

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127582&Tpk=msi%20twin%20frozr%20iii%20570

I would think since the gigabyte has 3 fans, it would be able to overclock higher? On the other hand I heard MSI has better quality, so which one should I choose if I plan to OC to around 900 or 950 core clock?

[QUOTE="Stinger78"]3.5mm is the standard "headphone plug" - what this headset might have is the 2.5mm (or so) plug - but also an adapter for it to plug into any regular headphone/microphone jacks. Most portable music players, computers, stereos, etc use the regular 3.5 plugs for output - whereas mobile phones tend to have the smaller ones. Ipods seem to have specialized headphone plugs with 3 of the "rings" on them along with the 'in-line' volume control. Basically it sounds like the headset will work for a computer.kris9031998
Thats Good. Lets just hope they are actually worth it

Any headsets that are advertised for gamers are not worth it.

Why I picked TurtleBeach? because I don't know what the good headsets are and most of my friends use Turtlebeach and they said it's really awesome.

Your friends don't know much about audio if they think Turtlebeach is awesome, read the headphone FAQ in this forum to learn more. My advice is to not get a headset (especially surround sound headsets) and instead get headphones.
