Super Smash Bros 3DS

With Other M my likes are:

--The action

--Throwback to 2-d days fo Metroid

--Beautiful visuals

--Gameplay was solid (loved pulling off the evassive moves)

--Certain parts of the story (the bits on how Ridley returned, Mother Brain, certain aspects of Samus' origin)

Dislikes:

--Samus being commanded on when and where she can use her weapons/tools.  

--Samus having a mental breakdown

--Point at screen gimmick

I actually liked Other M overall.  My dislikes are about the same as everyone else's although I think others are a little less forgiving on the bad parts of the game.

Ugh.  Ordered mine on Amazon.  It won't get here until the 25th-29th!  Oh well, guess I'll play something else in the meantime.  Good hunting guys.

The last boss was where the game actually got kinda tough. Still beat it on my first try but it took forever. One of the flaws IMO since up to that point the game wasn't that tough but then BAM final boss coming your way.

I got too bored with it before I linger any further, mainly because the adventure seemed to go by too fast and the story telling wasn't all that.  It's not a bad game, it's just an ok game.  I got the game when it FINALLY came out in NA, but then the fall/holiday games season happened and then the Wii U and it's games happened---it just got lost in the shuffle.

I noticed that Mass Effect 3 Wii U is not a launch day title. I wander if this was delayed so that it doesn't bump heads with the release of the trilogy on other consoles? An EA rep (before the Wii U release date was ever announced) said that the Wii U version was ready and they were just waiting on Nintendo to announce a date. Well Nintendo has since announced that date and now all of a sudden it's not a launch day title. So that means ME3 Special Edition may not be released until maybe March 2013 possibly.

Perhaps the Trilogy will be released later down the line. PC, 360, and PS3 players already paid $60 for ME3 earlier this year, now EA brings out the Trilogy for only $60 on those same systems. So it's not just future Wii owners who are getting cheated here.

Dragon Quest X, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and even Mass Effect 3 are all launch day or 'launch window' RPGs for the Wii U. Sure those are ports, but good games nonetheless. So I think for the early going, the Wii U has a decent array of RPGs. Hopefully more will come down the line.
