If Madworld is heavily advertised, it will sell. Remember when Red Steel came out? Those lousy commercials? It still sold a million copies.
If they forget to advertise Madworld, it'll be another No More Heroes scenario... it will sell enough.
The Nintendo haters here.
Nintendo - C+
Sony - C
Microsoft - C
Why the edge to Nintendo? They've got the mainstream on their side and you all know Wii Sports Resort, Wii Music and Animal Crossing will sell millions... which is not what the "hardcore" want to hear, but the "casuals" will love them.
I learned from this topic that the Wii is the best console for unorthodox excessive violence. Most violent games on other consoles are basically shooters... shoot the guy... or slash him, he falls, some blood shows, that's it... nothing special. Violent Wii games like NMH and the upcoming Madworld make your typical 360/PS3/PC shooters look tame.
Definitely in 2010, probably Q2 2010. Sony has a number of "just wait" titles that will have to come out before then... and that will drive sales higher.
Of course there's a chance. Matt from IGN has been saying for months that he knows 100% that it's in development.Rocky32189
Unless... he's a dirty, filthy, stinking liar liar pants on fire.
69% chance Kid Icarus is announced this year.
Weird is sometimes good, but I don't know about this.
I'm not buying it.
Those are all nice, but I don't consider myself a hardcore PC gamer. I'll be getting Spore this yea, but there's one PC game in 2009 I'm getting.
Cities XL.
Nobody is talking about it at all... but it has the potential to be great, even better than any of the SimCity games.
Eh, going with the obvious choice.
However, I think Weird Ed needs some love, too.
Wouldn't that just make the 360 and PS3 lousy PCs?
Bad idea there, bud.
