[QUOTE="Rocky32189"][QUOTE="TDLlama"]Hopefully, they'll show more games at upcoming shows. We'll just have to wait and see.

Show what though?
I mean I know everyone complaining would want a 30 second cutscene from a new Mario or Zelda game but what is that really?
We know there's games in the pipe, it's Nintendo
Show maybe a new F-Zero, Star Fox, Kirby Wii, that Kid Icarus game we're hearing about... and that's just from their established franchises.
I would rather see something new from Nintendo. Disaster looks promising, but Nintendo doesn't appear to be working on any new "core" IPs.
As for Mario or Zelda, I'm glad they just quickly mentioned it... I prefer Nintendo focus on other franchises.
Maybe the 360 and PS3 aren't gaming consoles either... but media entertainment centers.
They're not going to watch E3, no. But they're going to read all about it in the news. From everything I recall seeing, Nintendo was the big news story by far of E3.GabuEx
I did hear a story on the radio about how the gaming industry is booming despite recession fears, and which company was in the spotlight?
Nintendo, of course. No mention of Sony or Microsoft.
Did you not see the media blitz that was Wii Sports and Wii Fit? Wii Music will get some attention among the non-gamers and casuals.
And who was watching E3? Gamers, yes... but also a lot of investors and analysts. Gamers can get news on core games anytime they feel like.
Depends on the media. Gaming sites liked what MS and Sony did, but I'm sure the mainstream casual media just wanted to see what Nintendo would do next.
I love how people say that Nintendo isn't catering to the core audience after their show, but look at the games coming out in the coming months. Animal Crossing and Pikmin are core Nintendo franchises, plus there are several more core games coming to the Wii and DS from 3rd party devs.
I really should've added the /sarcasm to my post.
I got a good laugh at it... it's totally 80s Mega Man... and full of awesome.
