@mattbbpl: "@Stevo_the_gamer: This was the response for an entire administration, and then they tried to overthrow the government. Perhaps we should start taking them at their word."

You know Republicans can't handle this truth.

@zaryia: "Will you be getting this?"

And get the 6G tracking dream advertiser? Of course not. I'll stick with the 5G tracker without advertisements beamed directly into my dreams in vaccine form.

Remember, Texas only puts money towards keeping women from getting access to health care and general racism and Xenophobia.

@dabear: hello there fellow Hoosier. I didn't really ask if there was gerrymandering, because every state has been gerrymandered at this point. I asked if there is evidence (such as polls or us census, etc) of there being more Republicans than Democrats in Illinois.

Edit. So I googled it and according to PEW 48% of registered adults lean democrat whereas 33% lean republican. The state is gerrymandered (not something I love), but it's gerrymandered in favor of the majority. One of the worst outcomes of gerrymandering in my opinion is giving the minority the power, regardless of what the majority votes for.

@dabear: is there evidence that Illinois has more Republicans than democrats living in the state? I live in Indiana and pretty much everyone regards it as a blue state.

@Serraph105: I haven't heard of any states trying to make abortion pills illegal. Heartbeat bill wouldn't apply for the abortion pill.

By the time it has a heart beat you gotta have them pull their arms and legs off and vaccum them out. Pill doesn't work at that point.

A heartbeat is at 6 weeks, and the abortion pills can be used up to 10 weeks. That said, you are absolutely correct in the sense that this will still leave many women without options that they have a human right to if Roe gets gutted. It's still good to see the Biden administration make end runs around this sort of 1940s era bullshit, but we clearly need to do more to keep our rights intact.
