like i'd said, the initial hurdle is not getting past the error message when trying to install the card, windows knows what it is, and thinks its a "HD audio Adapter" none of the tools i've tried will detect it.

I've just recently bought a sound blaster x-fi titanium PCI-E card, and i've been trying everything i can find for the last 6-8 hours, and i still keep getting the same error of: "Setup is unable to detect a supported product on your system. Please ensure that your product is properly installed before running this setup program" But windows 7 is aware of the card as a sound card, and is totally convinced it's a "High Definition Audio Device" (My Onboard is completely disabled and uninstalled) and won't have it any other way. I'm aware that this is a common issue and i'm not the only one having this problem, i've tried all preparations of drivers, Auzens, AUU drivers etc, i've even tried running it on an installation of Windows XP 32bit i have on one of my other HDDs, same result. if it helps, my specs are: AMD Phenom II 955BE Asus M4A78T-E Mobo 8Gb PC10600 ram Geforce GTX 260 192 cores 3 HDDs (Sata II) Windows 7 pro 64Bit (Up to date) Can anyone tell me if i'm missing anything stopping me getting this card to install properly, i very much doubt it's faulty, but i would really appreciate if someone who's gotten the card to work to help me out, this is the 1st time this has ever happened to me with this much hassle as previous sound cards have never given me this bother.

Will that actually work with this card even though it's not a true X-fi card?

hi guys I'd bought a Creative Sound Blaster "X-FI" Audio Extreme thinking i was able to output Dolby digital through the Toslink/Optical to my Creative Extigy(Stand alone mode), and when i was looking through all the config options, i couldn't see anything which related to output of 5.1 audio through toslink, does anyone else have this card, and is there anything i'm able to do as my games and other applications don't seem to recognise this card for the purpose i'd originally bought it for, i also saw that people have had problems getting this card to work properly on windows 7 i'm preparing to send this card back and look at getting the Titanium version, Any suggestions otherwise before i do so?

It's pretty much what it says on the tin, it's sonic adventure with a few tweaks, (minus widescreen, which would've been nice) I was a big fan of Sonic Adventure and the sonic games before it, and i was happy to buy Sonic Adventure

I 2nd how good people say the 955 BE is I've had nothing but good things to say about it, it's the 1st Multi core system i've ever had and upgrading from a single core made all the difference for me. Very fast, very good value, a really good CPU for gaming and a very good contender against the Core 2 Quad and i7 CPUs (i know it doesn't out perform the i7 but it's really close)

I'd say overestimated. I thought it was a really good platform, though, and i can't complain at the exclusives i've played on mine so far, it's just a shame it doesn't have more games i want to play.

I'd let my child decide which gender they most identify with, obviously not an immediate thing, but i'd respect their decisions. I just wish this species would just stop basing everything to do with gender roles and social cues off of what they believe to be the work of some mysterious deity figure.
