I 2nd how good people say the 955 BE is I've had nothing but good things to say about it, it's the 1st Multi core system i've ever had and upgrading from a single core made all the difference for me. Very fast, very good value, a really good CPU for gaming and a very good contender against the Core 2 Quad and i7 CPUs (i know it doesn't out perform the i7 but it's really close)

my only advice is dont use the standard cooler. its really really loud when the CPU is working hard. nab a good CPU cooler and use that instead. im using the standard cooler at the mo and it makes me go a bit crazy :S. great CPU for the money though.

Thanks people, yeah im upgrading pretty much my whole system ( hopefully soon). I will go for a different cooler, I did that with my current system (got an artic freezer pro) becasue I didnt like the stock cooler that came with my Athlon X2 5600.

I agree 100%. It sounds like a hairdryer.

You can't find anything better for the price.
