I Like it!! I had a look at a few gameplay videos on youtube, and it does look kinda cool, and definately another way of saying Visuals don't make the game, but i know that helps for many people

Bugger!! i know when i tested the AC3 signal earlier today, my Extigy recognised the DD signal, and i got excited because i thought i'd be able to run my games in 5.1 DD thru the Toslink. i was trying to put off getting a sound card for a while, but i may re-consider next month Thanks for the info

Hi guys I have a Dolby Digital Capable setup: Sound Card: On-board Sound card (On my Asus M4A78T-E Mobo)(Using Toslink into Extigy) Decoder: Sound Blaster Extigy Speakers: Logitech X-540 I can get the Dolby Digital signal when using my 360 or PS3, but only when testing the outputs on my PC. Basically, is there any way to enable games like Crysis, Half life 2, Doom 3, Mass Effect and other games which support Surround sound to send a Dolby Signal to my Extigy receiver? (Or do i have to use Analog?) I just find it odd how the consoles send the signal to the extigy just fine, but the PC just outputs to either stereo or forced matrix mode or CMSS which doesn't do what i wanted it to do Any ideas guys? Help would be much appreciated!

Although it's a powerful machine, i do feel let down by the lack of games i'd like to play, i have got MGS4, LBP and Wipeout pure which i like, although....my 360 keeps reeling me back in when it comes to games i like playing, I don't like killzone 2, Resistance, Unchartered, or even that Gran turismo demo i tried out, I liked motorstorm....in all honesty, i find the XMB just plain and boring. I've only used the blu-ray playback for 2 movies. PSN home doesn't appeal to me at all, i really don't like it. The web browser function is ok but thats not why people buy consoles (Mostly for Gaming and Watching movies) I'd like to stop all the fanatics in their tracks by saying: i don't dislike this console(or any system for that matter, thats just plain idiotic) i would like to see more games which appeal to me rather than all these cookie cutter games all the time which don't offer much new experience

A Virtually endless back catalog of games as compared to the wealth of games the 360, PS3 and wii combined together which still can't even come remotely close to the number of Games you can play both natively and virtually (Through emulation(This also includes DosBox) on the PC. Also, you've got all the web games, Flash games, Mods....the list goes on. So for anyone to say the PC has very few games or...dying?.....HAH!!! Shame on you for calling yourself a gamer

I've bought quite a few titles this year I'd love steam if they dropped COD4 significantly, i'd snap it up so fast!! (lets hope there's enough keys)

i don't mind blood and gore in games In reality i'd hate the thought of even hurting or hitting someone, cos i'd feel really awful about hitting someone even if someone were to attack me,i'm a complete pacifist, although in games, i'd try to avoid conflict like in some games like MGS2 for example, i'd actually stick to the tranquiliser gun as i'd feel guilty about taking a life in that game and even in Assassin's creed 2, if i were chased by guards i'd tackle them just to slow them down and get away from their sight. Although...it's strange, i do like the stylised killing you see in games like DMC and Ninja gaiden, i think cos it screams so loudly "UNREALISTIC", which to me is what video games are all about, ESCAPE and fantasy, its when a game tries too hard to be realistic i get put off....i do though however find it a guilty pleasure to race around in full auto, completely demolishing other cars and the landscape. I'd say both do and don't like gore and blood in games
