hi everyone, I'm looking to buy an extended battery for my 3DS(not XL), and was wondering if anyone can tell me if they've had any good experiences with these 2 in particular i've got my eyes on: the CTA Digital Power Grip Deluxe and the PowerA PowerCase, I'd like to get as much gameplay as i can before charging again, also, has anyone had any bad experiences with the bigger capacity packs like this 5000mAh one i've read about? I appreciate any suggestions anyone has, and thanks :)

I've been playing Sonic Gen for just over an hour and it's holding up quite well on my PII 955 with 8Gb ram and GTX 260, got the res on 1920x1080 with everything on full except the AA which i don't need on at this resolution, Loving the speed :) i had a few slow downs during the chemical plant level but thats about it, This is definately the sonic game i've been waiting for, although the small hub level is bearable, Sega got this game just right for my liking (Goes back to playing)

WTF????.....2800 for a laptop?...Holy cow!! i think in a desktop config this laptop's spec would cost a lot less, 7-750 at most? I think 2800 would build a dream PC, 2x 22" monitors, a Logitech z-5500 and everything else you need and STILL have plenty of money in the bank for games and a few future upgrades....when you need them

I'd say get a PC, but don't shy away from your console as there's bound to be games on there you'd want that you won't see on the PC, but then again, you'd see the same thing vice-versa. I have a 360, a PS3, a Wii and a decent PC as of 2 years ago which i've not stopped using yet, extremely moddable, super flexible and i'm not limited in gaming options, i also use a 360 controller on my PC for platformers and anything which suits, or supports a control pad. I'd use it for anything other than FPS or other games which require precision and speed, something i suck at using a thumb stick (Much prefer a Keyboard and mouse) It's completely up to you, but again, don't ditch your console and have the best of both worlds.

i have to admit, i prefer playing 1st person games on PC, unless it's a title which isn't action focused (e.g: Metroid Prime, Oblivion or Fallout 3), then i prefer Mouse and keyboard. Having played FPS games since 1998 when it was more PC predominant for the genre, i preferred twitch controls which i don't find as easy to do with a controller, although i do like most other genres being played with a control pad.

I've been playing it on already on the 360, and i absolutely love love love it, so fast and so much fun I'm glad everyone can try it, even the ps3 guys, all i can say though is it deserves every point of its score regardless of the version. I'm only sad the PC crowd and the Wii crowd aren't getting this :( otherwise i'd probably have got it on steam if it were. Oh well :) You'll have fun playing it next week though
