Borderlands is nothing compared to Demon's Souls, man. I had already played through DS twice when I got Borderlands. I played Borderlands for about eight hours before I put DS back in. I'm on my fourth playthrough and still haven't even thought twice about Borderlands. DS is phenomenal. Borderlands is hardly an RPG. Sure, you level up and you get loot, but its so generic feeling and almost pointless that you really don't feel like you're accomplishing anything. You shoot things, they drop some variation of ammo or weapon (don't most shooters do this?), and you get XP to add to your level eventually making you stronger. The only other RPG element in place is the very limited skill trees that offer borderline uselessness to power up your character. Honestly, Bioshock felt more like an RPG than Borderlands does. That's just my opinion. Demon's Souls is a Corvette compared to Borderlan's pink tricycle.

[QUOTE="Javieralijandro"]yeah, how come they never review the campaign of COD. And why didnt they review the online for MGS4. Funny, truly funny.GrandJury
If they do it is not a HUGE deal. They know the majority of the people who are buying MW2 are not really worried about the campaign. The story mode of MW2 could be 2 hours long for all they care aslong as they get to play the multiplayer.

Guess I'm part of the minority. I thought the sp campaign of MW was effing amazing, and I expect nothing less from the sequel. I'm sure the multiplayer will be the same old run-n-gun psycho bloodsport the others have been. I couldn't care less for a multiplayer right now. I just want to play another bad@$$ moden wartime shooter.

U2 is probably the closest to taking it, but I would definately expect Batman: AA and Demon's Souls to be close runner's up.

lol, Man, even after all the complaints people on the internet have about them, my Gamestop is actually pretty decent.

After they've gotten to know me on a first name basis the guys at my gamestop treat me pretty well. However, they do push MW2 (or anything they think you'll pre-order) like its crack rock. The manager actually told me he would think a lot less of me as a person if I didn't pre-order Heavy Rain. lol

I guess you didn't like Fallout 3 too.

Warriorboy1990
They are only alike in odd ways that really don't matter. Where it counts... They are nothing alike. Fallout 3 is far superior to Borderlands. I also find Borderlands uninteresting. I made it to level 19, but now I can't bring myself to put it back in. I'll end up finishing it eventually, but I'd rather play through Demon's Souls for the 5th time.

Man, my freaking HDTV went out on me, and all I have for a TV now is a regular old TV with the red, white, and yellow A/V jacks in the back. The problem is that my PS3 is set to display a 1080 picture through HDMI. When I plug the PS3 into my regular TV it shows nothing at all. Is there a way to reset the PS3 or something so it will revert back to a normal resolution or am I just screwed until I get another HDTV???

Just have to say, this game is no where near as difficult as it was made out to be. Its all trial and error. Once you figure out where the bad guys are and how you need to go about beating each of them the only challenge left is to not mess up. Now, messing up is pretty easy to do, but this game is great for excersizing patience and caution. Oh, and if you think the first play through is hard you'll never get out of soul form in the New Game +.

Its more legend than story. The scene is laid for you and you just play your role. Its kind of like Shadow of the Colossus. There's a problem needing solved, a nice fella steps up to the plate, big ugly dudes are slain, and problem is solved - end of story. Also, like Shadow of the Colossus, Demon's Souls is all about gameplay, atmosphere, and immersion. It wants to suck you in. It wants your..... your.... your SOUL!

Not a chance. Its not as great as it was hyped up to be. Role-Playing Shooter.... lol. Anyway, so far Demon's Souls, Batman AA, and InFamous have my vote. Demon's Souls is ungodly.
