The trailer has little tidbits of information for Halo fans, but not so much to spoil the surprise. I can see why people who aren't really into it would find it boring.
If you're looking for crazy explosions and 1 second cuts you best look somewhere else.
The graphics, well if it turns out that this really is an in game cutscene, then freaking awesome! graphics are nice! But Ill bite my tongue until actual gameplay footage comes out, maybe bungie finally learned their lessons from the H2 and H3 "in-game" trailers.
Half Life 1 was one of the most difficult and challenging SP FPS experiences I have ever had. Halo CE ranks right close to it. Health Packs really make youu play the game differently (I miss them)
I honestly could not say which one is truly better objectively, but I had a great time playing through both.
As gamers we should really like them all even if we don't own them all. Why we sit in here and bicker with eachother over the most meaningless things makes me wonder what "System Wars" is actually good for?

Nerd Rage. There is just so much of it and only one place here to let it out.
As far as the Elder Scrolls series is concered, Oblivion is definitely the weakest, most watered down of the bunch. However I still enjoyed it throughly until the end of the campaign. And it is far from the WORST game this gen, FAR.
Gears of War 2 (More like Gears of War 1.1) Besides they story just gets annoying sometimes and the whole thing with that guys wife... please... On a side note the shooters with automatic cover systems are really starting to bug me.
Also Half-Life 2/Portal. So many people hype Half-life as Gods gift to man, but it just a great game, nothing more nothing less. And personally I thought portal was alright. At first I thought it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen, but I was just drunk.
I play both games extensively... well actually they are basically the only two games I play at the moment.
It really is a toss up for me though, I think both are fun and addicting for their different gameplay elements. Both excellent run and gun type shooters.
