These aren't comparable. TF2 is a heavily teamwork-based game. Halo 3, you can basically dominate a team by yourself if you are good enough.pyromaniac223You mean if the other team is bad enough.

But not matter how good you are at TF2, you aren't going to dominate the other team by yourself if the other team actually knows the basics of the game.

Again, if the other team knows the basics. As in, shoot the medic.[QUOTE="pyromaniac223"][QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"] You mean if the other team is bad enough.metroid_mario

If you place your sentry right, and don't simply try to turtle one spot you can be a greater offensive power than any other class. A level 3 sentry practicing area denial while waiting for a demoman to shoot it from around the corner has nothing on a level 1 sentry, constantly repositioning to areas deep behind enemy lines where you'd never expect, while an engineer distracts you long enough for the sentry to get you in it's sights, providing the engineer hasn't already killed you himself.
BTW, don't tell me that a skilled enough team can beat a good offensive engie, of course they can. Still, any class, played well, engineer or otherwise, can provide a serious threat to a team.
TF2 is definitely a better multi player experience than Halo 3.
I play both games extensively... well actually they are basically the only two games I play at the moment.
It really is a toss up for me though, I think both are fun and addicting for their different gameplay elements. Both excellent run and gun type shooters.
didnt play TF2 on PC but on PS3 and its a blast...(i know PC version is superior)
Out of the 2 games i actually played more TF2 online, but Halo3 is great & fun too... still prefare TF2 though !!

A great Spy in TF2 can be an absolute moster against a team.Wha? :? What servers are you playing on? I've only ever seen people calling others noobs in arena. Join UKCS server it is sehr friendly ;)id like to be able to say TF2, i have it for the PC but dont have the insane amount of time availible to get good at it. and the community dispises nOObs. So ive yet to have a game that ive enjoyed.

Trying a class like Medic or Engy might do the trick, even Heavy or Pyro. That and Darkplace (still is) awesome.id like to be able to say TF2, i have it for the PC but dont have the insane amount of time availible to get good at it. and the community dispises nOObs. How are these two even comparable?Stevo_the_gamer
I don't think you can compare the two, either. They are about as far away from each other as two games can get and still be in the same genre.
That being said I much prefer TF2 on the PC. I played Halo 3 for a few weeks but only because I loved the first Halo. The other two are mediocre games to me, but I did like the end of Halo 3; I still like Master Chief.
Still, it's a pretty lame comparison.

I guess I learned a long time ago to tune that crap out. Throwing words like "pro" and "noob" around just means to dorky to live.
