What's their excuse for not implementing offline characters that can't be brought online then?

All the code is in place so it's anything but added devtime/costs. It's not like there's a security risk, considering they're keeping things serverside anyway....

Give me this deal with worthwhile games in Denmark and you have customer MS. I've been very pleased with your customer service lately, even if your convoluted website and phone systems were the cause of my problems to begin with.

Maybe my "PC elitism" rubbed them the right way :P I've never encountered so misleading electronic self-service accompanied by so helpfull employees.

I rarely have anything positive to say about MS but their tech support is stellar, at least if you're not entirely helpless to begin with.

Keep ypur expectations in check and a 560m can run Crysis 2 and MEtro 2033.

That means dont expect to max them at 1080p. So far, I find Witcher 2 to be the game that brings me the most hassle.

First one was a bro story about killin them big bad subterraineans by way of chainsaw. Simple premise that worked because it was'nt trying to be too ambitious.

Second one had the ambitions and was a mess as a result.

Third one seems to continue the tradition of Gears 2 and good authors don't necessarily make good game writers imho.

I recall Crysis 2 having an acclaimed writer as well.
