I think this is Microsofts plan really....

there's many PS2 users who don't have a 360 or PS3 yet and were waiting for the lower price PS3 that they'd eventually get but now own an Xbox Arcade because it's $199.99

I don't see these people moving to PS3 as they've already chosen their console for this gen

And Sony doesn't advertise AT ALL...at least not that i've seen on my TV or websites...:evil:

This means some developers in the long run will focus more on 360 if they have a larger user base and might actually hamper PS3's longevity

The problem with video games is there's no standard and there's so many games

Sports or any game usually have been around for a long time but the problem with video games is they last only a few years before people move onto the next one

Older games that are still played and have the rules set in stone like Counter-strike 1.5 or 1.6 and Starcraft could become a sport...

Once the rules change with a patch or update, thats like changing some major rule in the NBA or something, doesn't happen tha toften

does sound strange you experiencing that, try plugging into the TV first, then connect to the ps3 afterwards, if you have used other consoles and they worked not sure why i twouldn't

so I wanted to ask about the gameplay style in battlefield bad company...how tactical do u have to be? can I just run and gun everybody or do I have to really use team tactics and use my head (personal challange)???

Single player was very bad i thought for this game

I've tried the tactical approach in single player but the A.I. Artificial intelligence of the enemies is really bad

bad because they know your location once you fire one shot at them, they don't even look around they just automatically know and start firing in your direction a good example of A.I is in Metal Gear Solid 4 the enemies will alert their friends to duck for cover and start to look around for you ....This game they just turn around and EVERYBODY starts firing at you

CRISIS has the best TECHNOLOGY behind it

It has all the latest graphic technology effects in the game but that does not make it the best GRAPHICs

Best graphics = best artwork, best use of technology, best modeling etc

you can have great technology but if people don't know how to use it properly and are crapphy artists it will still look like crap

But the thing is, the award was for best graphics, not best artstyle. Artstyle is too subjective, and from a technical standpoint, Crysis blows everything else away.pyromaniac223

Crisis doesn't look like S@#$ but its not up to par with how Metal Gear Solid 4 looks

Crisis has superior technology behind, it has the new graphical features and buzzwords HOWEVER their artists and their modelers are not up to snuff against Metal Gear Solid 4's

Metal Gear Solid 4 has better art style, more realistic looking models......even if some of the textures are low resolution and even if the technology behind Metal Gear Solid 4 isn't as state of the art the people working on Metal Gear solid 4 have done a better job of what they are working with

Some people love looking at close resolutions of Crisis like this, i don't get whats the big deal? So its more detailed...it still doesn't look that great and how is that ehancing the way i play ???

Even at lower texture resolutions, i still prefer the look of this

when i played World of Warcraft and Guild Wars on the PC I didn't touch any other video games nor did i care to

I think this is the reason we don't see titles like Guild Wars with its Free Online and Massive Multiplayer like RPG gamestyle on consoles is that if they are actually well made and addicting nobody will pick up another game = less sales for other games on the console

MMO's = ultimate replayability ....people get hooked and don't for a few months or even years look at any other game once they get it

people keep saying that I think the game looks bad, and I never said that, BUT it does not derserve a 10.0 is what I'm saying plenty of other games look better. Crysis (I know it's PC game) halo 3, Call of duty 4, assasins creed, all of them (in my view) look at the very least a little better than MGS4. the colours especially on the 2nd chapter with its blue hues ...its just a beautiful game
