Reasons I bought a playstation 3

1.) Free Online Play - i know its not as good as Xbox 360 Live yet but its free and it works lol

2.) No Mods or Hacks...yet - 360 i know you can mod it so i'm not sure if people i play online with are also using backed up games or hacking somehow, not fair man

3.) More Stable Systemno RROD - 360 has bee notorious for breaking down, Red Ring of Death RROD and I didn't want to have to go through that experience so I bought PS3, i'm reading some breakdowns of PS3 on official forum but doesn't seem to be as bad as Xbox 360

4.) Support system longer - playstation 2 still being supported, I bought Xbox 1 and we got dumped in 4-5 years

5.) Blu-Ray

The single player story is boring and repeititve

Niko will kill anyone for money basically, so stupid....

The whole game is him going around killing people because people want him to....doesn't he have a mind and maybe get a job elsewhere ? lol

for the demo this is true because the demo was removed from the stores

Well I played a little bit of both and I was really split. UT 3 got my attention but it offers nothing new for me. If it had a bigger community, I would probably play it more because it would be more interesting.

Battlefield games on the other hand always feel half finished. I always feel like I am playing a sub par first person shooter BUT in a really awesome, large and diverse environment. The environment, weapons, vehicles, maps, number of players always seem to make for up for the mediocre FPS controls.

I already have COD 4 and Warhawk.

i agree with what you said about half finished for battlefield games, they always patch later like on the PC version

i was a pc gamer till i bought my playstation 3 about 2 months ago and I've been an avid player of battlefield 1942, battlefield 2

Bad company is similar to Battlefield 2 in setting and environments, everything is a bit more user friendly

Single player campaign in Battlefield bad company is also meh, some people found it funny but i thought it was more offensive just because they were trying to be funny and killing all these people with no remorse and just felt wrong.....plus the A.I sucks

Multiplayer makes this game, really does feel like a war and the sounds are incredible

last i heard Unreal Tournament wasn't selling well for any platform

thats why you see the game at $14.99 at blockbuster video

not sure how populated the servers are if thats the case but battlefield bad company, lots of people playing and once you get the game there's an online page to track your progress with stats and pictures etc

We are happy to see that so many of you are playing Battlefield: Bad Company and having so much fun. The level of community interest in this game and its features is really visible, also through the amount of feedback various members of the development team have been receiving through their Live accounts, Facebook, emails, phone calls, faxes (People still use those??) on our forums and all the other channels out there.

Our Bad Company developers have been working a lot in the last two years and, we have managed to produce a game that we are very proud of. Even with the game already in stores, we would like to let you know that we are reading and listening to all of your feedback.

Right now the team is working on creating the Conquest game mode for Battlefield: Bad Company together with the conversion of the maps to go with it. The Conquest Pack is currently going through testing and certification.

We are very aware of the different issues you have told us you find most important. Therefore as soon as we're done with the above there are several other points of your feedback which we'll continue to investigate, without currently being able to say with certainty whether or not we will be able to include them. These include, but are not limited to:

• Clan support/private rooms/team chat
• Auto balancing on servers
• Continued support against stats exploits
• VOIP issue on PS3 (working with Sony on this)
• Squads might be split up when joining a server as a squad. This is due to team balancing in the games that are being joined, and usually resolves itself in round 2.

BAD COMPANY!

Why?

IT has vehicles (Tanks, JEeps, buggies, helicopters) and controllable weapons (Air strikes, mini machine guns, rocket launchers)

IT has BIG environments....talking 30 minutes to run from one side of the map to the other

IT has DESTRUctable environments, see somebody hiding in a house sniping...BLOW the freaking wall away so he can't snipe there anymore

The only bad thing about bad company is it needs a patch and its coming according to the devs, the Microphone (Lack of hearing other people) issues suck

So both sides are saying its the other who has removed the demo and i should contact each....well i have and both are pointing fingers at each other

Sony PS3 support on the phone said it was EA who had removed the demo and i should contact them....i contacted EA first but only by email support and they said to contact Sony

I think it comes down to the demo having almost infinite replay value as there are still some people on the PC windows version of 1942 and battlefield 2 STILL PLAYING THE DEMO to this day...
