A game should be reviewed based upon the game play, it's story, and the environment. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you have personal feelings about how a game portrays a certain race or gender, blog about it. It has no place in a review meant to tell us if it's worth our money.

I have absolutely no problem with a 9.0 but docking score over how you personally feel emotionally about a supposed misogynist issue in Grand Theft Auto, a game that has ALWAYS made everyone out to be a caricature of themselves is unacceptable.

Would it be acceptable for someone to dock points from MGSV's future review because they felt the depiction of child soldiers was too graphic and politically incorrect?

Bioware didn't make Knights of the Old Republic 2.

The choice to go the MMO route so early is due to dialogue between Lucas Arts and Electronic Arts. Bioware just happened to be the developer that belonged to the Publisher.

@steelmouth

Actually I'm neither. I do not believe in brand loyalty.

I owned a PS3, 360, and Wii last generation. A Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube the generation before that.

The only fanboys here are those that pretend Sony, Nintendo, or their PCs can do no wrong and those that believe Xbox is the holy grail and that they are incapable of fucking up.

However, Microsoft has done so much shit, is it really unrealistic thinking to assume they have people trying to raise poll numbers for them? They've already attempted aggressive marketing and even that has failed.

If you're going to accuse me of something, use proper grammar at the very least.

Unrelated, but funny you say that. Our water heater ruptured two weeks ago and flooded our utility room.

COULD IT BE A SIGN OF THE TIMES?

@dcaseng MGS4 was designed to be the end of Solid Snake's journey. Kojima wanted only to not only tie everything together neatly, but have it so that players just now entering the series could have everything re-capped. The cutscenes served this purpose. The game play was fun, and the story was very enjoyable.

If you don't enjoy the cutscenes, this series isn't for you. Granted you can always just skip them.

My proof is already presented, all you have to do is start shoveling the comments for yourself. Read them here, and in countless other places suches as facebook, twitter, etc.

What features does the X1 offer that the PS4 does not? Apart from the Kinect?

(Games and exclusives are not a valid argument for -either- side. People have different tastes and as it stands, both consoles currently have very weak launch line-ups in my opinion.)

Secondly, do not play off of my words. I said that most of them want it to be -optional-. Which they do. Who wants to pay $100 for a peripheral they aren't going to use?

You call putting things you already have to pay for behind a pay wall and being $100 more expensive for product that's either worse or the same in terms of power than the PS4 "Unique Features?"

How deluded can you be?

The majority of gamers want the Kinect to be -optional-. They don't want their motion sensor gimmick to be tied to the console in order for it to function. That piece alone is what's driving the price up the extra $100, and no one wants it.

I want the Xbox One to give me a reason to consider buying it. It's not anywhere near being competitive with the PS4. Even the much weaker WiiU is a better option than the Xbox One at this point.

The Xbox One is now matched with the PS4 in terms of power? Very good.

Now, if they're so even, all you have to do is take $100 off the price, remove the kinect from the equation, and make features like Netflix (which require their own separate subscription) free as opposed to locking them behind a pay wall.

You might be level with the PS4 in raw processing power Microsoft, but they still offer a much better, consumer friendlier deal than you do.

Microsoft, can you please explain to me why you have a bot desperately retweeting here to raise poll numbers for you in America?

How desperate can you get?
