Be insightful. Of course we all recognize that FPS genre or almost any video game in general has violence.
But there's a difference between a FPS that focus on realism and FPS that detaches realism much as possible.
It's the difference between SAW series and Looney Tunes. They show equally violent stuff in both of them but one of them detaches realism and therefore we don't associate the violence as real violence.

He's saying lot of these games that are focused around guns are too violent and although he does want to make a FPS game he wouldn't necessarily make it violent.Did you fail reading comprehension?

That's the only way I can think of how you guys are able to so grossly misinterpret the circumstances .1) He doesn't get a say with the DLC fiasco. He does what the CAPCOM corp heads tell him to do. He just designs the games and oversees things from that level down. 2) Do you think it's fun dressing up in a costume and acting like a-hole in front of people everyday of the week travelling all over the world? Coming from the one of the most talented companies out there right now working with cg and gaming technology, his words have quite a powerful echo.However, sadly enough, without the need of it or not, SONY And Microsoft will launch next gen soon. I usually hate saying this phrase because it gets misused all the time but this time it really is - all about the money.
@First_Gen_Gamer The only problem is that lot of game devs in Japan do fine without multiplayer. It's a problem they are well aware of but they aren't sure how to address it.Especially when there are companies that specializes in multiplayers games in Japan and Korea - and people much rather play those than to play a single player game that has a multiplayer as a bonus - it's hard for them to compete and lacks incentive to make those kinds of games.(you see fighting games with online because you HAVE to have it for fighting games because it's meant to be multiplayer. Games like Vanquish... you can find games like that in arcades that's just right down the street except hell of a lot better).Even without the American market, they still have Korea, Japan, and China. The big problem in Asia right now isn't "multiplayer." This dev is way wrong about that. It's about massive amount of CHOICES that players have. Which led companies to start specializing. Gaming choice in America is utterly minute compared to choice you have in Asia from free to play games to console games. People have different tastes and with so much choices became naturally selective over how they spend money and time.
Those of us who are not idiots probably know that of course he's being slightly facetious.Play the game way you want to but he's saying that there are - to him at least - more genuine gratification and entertainment with the hardcore mode.I agree somewhat, but I also like the normal game too for its up and downs. Don't get offended over someone's opinions.
Even though Tekken Tag 2 is out in Japan, this is still my fighting game of choice.Who cares if no one's playing it anymore.... even at the Sega gamecenter at Akihabara...:(
@vicke32 I think that's a bit silly thing to complain about for CE that's only 100 bucks. (given that's only 40 bucks above the normal games)4 gb I can use for work, school, music, little things. There are more things people can use USB for other than games. And it's a special design with a holder. No complaints here. Trial stuff is a bit desperate but I think other goods balance it out. Again, 100 bucks CE that's only 40 bucks more than the normal version.
@DeViLzzz I would really love to see an official report about how the monthly payments are spent exactly and what the price is to get rid of the monthly payment. Regardless, whether this game has monthly payment or not, I'll give it a go.
